^Did you do an ME1 import with that playthrough? The meters from the first game give you an enormous paragon/renegade bonus.

Yep I did. As I've said I have a full renegade meter.

I've played the game as I wanted it and didn't try to avoid paragon points. Basically I was nice to my friends and bad to strangers or ****s and ended up with full renegade and slightly less than half paragon. And now I can't use the preferd option because I let too many paragon points happen? That bothers me a lot tbh

You can side with Tali, and reason with Legion afterwards. Same thing with Miranda/Jack. Side on Miranda and you can later reason with Jack (on my second playthrough had to do this). Perhaps they work otherway around too, havent tried.

sounds liek a bug because like i said I had both option so high on one dosent cancell them both. but it must be a bug . legion/tali was always so late in the game,

I had the option to explain Legion afterwards that I've lied to Tali and gain his loyality back. But I'm not satisfied with that. I believe this option is there for a reason and will fall back on me in ME3 causing Tali to leave me or something like this and I coulnd't take it to lose her Image IPB
After all I've heard I personally think it's some decisions you made earlier which cause not being able to chose renegade/paragon options in the Miranda/Jack and Tali/Legion arguments, as well as being able to fix it afterwards. Or it's just stupid randomness...

Anyways, I've just started a new playthrough with the same ME1 savegame and try to focus a bit more on being renegade. Let's see how it turns out.

Thx to ya'll for trying to help Image IPB

On my second playthrough I had to sided with miranda because I
couldnt choose paragon diplomacy. Jack was pissed and stormed out. Then I
went down her place and speaked with her. She shouts at you to go back
to Miranda. You have Paragon option there where you basically say to her
that "Dont you tell me you fell for that. I just wanted to keep
Mirandas Cerberus connections intact" in idea. Jack turned back to
Loyal.

I agree the 80% # is not it as I just had 85% and I still didnt get the option to end the fight.. I still dont know what triggers this.. Sure you can end the fight at the half way mark of the game with about 45% but what determines the number ? There has to be something that everyone is missing here. My first game was a carryover save and I had no problem. My second game was a new character with the default Shep and no luck... Its frustrating..

Just one hypothesis. Maybe it's not related to the endgame, but how long you keep 'em waiting before doing their personal mission? In my previous playthrough I couldn't choose the Paragon option in the Jack/Miranda fight 'cause I'd done Miranda's mission just before hitting the relay.

Now I've done the missions as soon as possible, and I could choose the Paragon option on that occasion. But now I'm kinda afraid about the Tali/Legion argument. I'm trying to keep everyone loyal and I have Zaeed's mission to accomplish too. I've done no other missions besides the loyalty ones. Will I be okay?

Oddly, I did this one yesterday on a renegade character, with about 95% of the red meter filled. This was a character that had also made a lot of Paragon decisions, and so had about 60% of the blue meter filled. When the time came, the Paragon option was actually blue, while the Renegade option was still grey. It struck me as quite odd, although it was nice to be able to resolve the issue.

Has anyone done all (and only) the loyalty missions, including Zaeed's, and had problems with the Tali/Legion argument? I'm at 95%+ Paragon right now, I still have to do Grunt's and Jacob's missions and I'm going for the IFF after that.

It's really sick to have your game screwed by silly game mechanics. You can they explain that? Does Shepard suffer from some sort of neurodegenerative disease that makes him dumber and dumber as time goes by?

I have had the same problem with Jack/miri when I did it as para. This time I got problems with tali/legi for the first time as renegade, even though I did it like twice before. I helped tali, then went to legion and clicked: Fight with tali, then: I lied, was right afterwards, with the same number of renegade score, maybe the choice to rewrite/destroy have something to do with it, dunno though.
