Don't think Thane will make ME3 (with his sickness) , for sure Aria, Garrus, Tali, Legion (loved the Geth tie-in, remember: "We are Legion", recruitable Geth army), Mordin, and don't forget about the books (Ascension: Kahlee Sanders (scientist), Gillian Grayson (young biotic beast, should be old enough for ME3), and Hendel (biotic)

Kal'Reegar would be an amazing squad mate. Just remember, you're not paying him to talk pretty.

None of them, I hope. Aria would make a horrible squadmate, I think - just something about her I didn't like, and would not like her as a squaddie. Not to mention I think she has better things for her to do.



Kolyat as someone said is just a punk with a gun and an infamous last name, so no he doesn't seem a good choice, not to mention if, on the slight chance, that Thane is still around by ME3 then why not just keep him?



Kal'Reager I really didn't like - I don't care if he was voiced by Adam Baldwin, I want to know what an American with a cheesy accent is doing with the quarians. Plus, having to feed one quarian and one turian would be enough out of my wallet, let alone two quarians.

Everyone keeps saying no to Kolyat due to his lack of experience, but he's working for C-Sec now. If there's any length of time between ME2 and ME3, it could be a case the Kolyat becomes a C-Sec officer and, as a result, joins Shepard after Thane dies in order to sort of follow his father's footsteps or whatever. BioWare can write his rationalizations better then I can.



But, yeah, Kolyat is already affiliated with C-Sec and who knows where that'll go. I should also say that I'm not pro-Kolyat for a squaddie, but I don't think he should be ruled out due to lack of experience because we don't know how long of a time gap we're dealing with.

Actually in the LI aspect my types are Garrus, Than and Tali. But seeing some more would not be bad at all. Maybe as female Shepard we'll be able to romance Joker? Or mordin? ( both of these hold a giant dose of comedy in them if BW would like to make them LI's, they'll be the most entertaining romances for players bored with Tali, Miranda, Kaidan/Ashley and stuff ).

I didn't say the characters were bad, per se.  Just the dialogue.  "We have a connection....Now it's your time....I settle for nothing but the best....Be alive with me tonight....I want you."  Reminds me of primary school.

Now if they'd something along the lines of:
Jacob: "I need you. Now. Please."

or

Kaiden: "I came back, and I'm staying."

God, how many women dream of hearing that?

In my nightmares maybe. Kaidan inspires in me a strong desire to die of boredom, and because he is very difficult to throw off the chase, I decided to Virmire him just to be safe. It was no great loss. If the Ashley/Kaidan element returns as a squadmate in ME3 they will never be in my party. Ever.

I'd like to see Kal' Reegar return as a squadmate in ME3. At this point it's all up in the air. I don't really see Aria as a squadmate though. She's built herself a dynasty - why would she drop it to go on a wild goose chase across the galaxy? Doesn't seem to fit her character.

The assignment was completed when I gave them to him. But I had both of the packages while doing that.

We have a standing crew of 11....soon to be 12 and then there are 3 surviving members from ME1 that aren't on our team that will likely make a return. That would place our crew at 15. I highly doubt there will be any more than that.

I gave them both to him at the same time too...I figured that's what caused the glitch.  I was going to go back and try giving them to him one at a time, but it seems giving them both at once isn't the cause of the glitch.  Oh well.

Anyway, I really hope Aria is a recruitable squad member in Mass Effect 3, because she was definitely one of my favorite NPCs in Mass Effect 2.  Also, the matriarch bartender would definitely make for an interesting squad member.

Well not all Qurians have that same accent.. Xen, was voiced by Claudia Black (British), and of course the Quarian you meet in the Citadel had a american voice too it seems.

So to my understanding, not everyone has to be that Eastern european accent that Tali plays. I too would like to see Kal'Reager as well.

As for Aria and Thane's son, well I'm indifferent to them, I'd like to see Aria though if Wrex comes back, if the rumors is true and Aria is that commando Wrex was talking about in the first game. But, what are the odds Carrie Ann Moss is coming back for the 3rd game? (Money talks I guess, but I don't know..)

As for the timeframe as some people are saying, I have a feeling we are not going to see that long of a gap like the way it was for ME 1 to ME 2, it's gonna pick up pretty quickly after the end of the 2nd one. Just a gut feeling though, so don't hold me to it.

If any of the ME2 squadmates don't return because they could die, then how the heck can Kal'Reegar join the team?!

Wrex CANNOT be a squad member, for the very fact that he can die in ME1



The only way around this is if Bioware comes up with a party system that accounts for squad members who could potentially be dead, allowing the player to recruit them provided they haven't died in the previous two. I REALLY hope they come up with something along those lines, just so I can recruit my favourite ME2 squad members.

Nevertheless, a vorcha team mate would be more fun. Don't say I didn't tell ya. Imagine a couple of vorchas beside you, eating your enemies as the need arises. Just try not to look delicious when they are with you.

Maybe Liara and Ashley/Kaidan will be returning as squaddies? ME already has a huge cast now so I think they are gonna be reusing most of them as well as adding a few new faces. Who knows?

Yeah, only if I had a bar in my ship. Hey, why not? I would gladly give my extra 200K platinum for such a ship upgrade, and some more.
