Wow. Really a great experience. The battle with the Archdemon was a keystone cops fiasco. All my plans out the window. Wynne snuffed before I knew what hit us. Morrigan down seconds later. I used the Redcliffe army to save the better forces for later and then could not seem to change armies so I was stuck with them. I still haven't figured that one out. In the ensuing panic I lost track of Alistair and wound up essentially soloing with my DW Duelist/Ranger Rogue. I had real trouble figuring out the layout of the battle. At one point I was merrily blasting away with a ballista not really watching the demon because it was hard to get a view and then I realized that the shots were coming up short! I thought that the Prima guide said that you could always whack him with a ballista but it's probably a mistaken impression on my part. I wound up wading in toe to toe dancing around tossing grenades. (hey what's with the cooldown on grenades? I mean you throw one and there's a cooldown but you can throw another type? Doesn't make sense). And I'm not real pleased with the stealth patch. As near as I can tell, I wasted some important talents to get lvl 4 + the power of blood and I never was stealthy once I started combat so like what's the point in "combat stealth"? Wouldn't 2nd level do the job for sneaking around before combat? Anyway I loved playing this game and I'm planning a mage next go around.
Just finished. great game. some thoughts

You can't change army because it doesn't make sense for them to tag and leave to be repalced and calling them all makes it too easy.
I liked the Archdemon battle, many said it was too easy but I do always seem to lose a couple of companions, if not 3 of them. It feels really epic to me. I love it.

Like Mike Tyson said, "Everyone has a plan until they get hit."
