Favorite:

1. Zaeed - Can't really imagine a more badass voice for such a badass character. The cockney accent just amplifies everything that makes Zaeed the great character that he is.

2. Morinth - Slick, sexy and ooh so dangerous. I ended up using Morinth much more than I would've because of her VA.

3. The Illusive Man - It's Martin Sheen!

4. Admiral Hackett - It's Lance Henriksen!

5. Kal'Reegar - Adam Baldwin delivers a brilliant VA performance, despite not having much to work with. Would love to see more of him in the future, maybe even as a squad mate.



Dislikes:

1. Liara - Lifeless VA for a lifeless character.

2. Samara - Every time I hear her calm, soothing voice I just want to rip her vocal chord out and yell at her so loud it makes her ears bleed: "SHUT THE **** UP YOU ****!!"

3. Dr. Chakwas - The over-dramatic drunken cougar.

Samara: I like her. Talking to her is like listening to a gentle, wise older teacher.
Zaeed: So awesome xD

Hate:

Liara. Maybe if she had a different voice, I wouldn't hate her so much, but we'll never know. She sounds like a fragile damsel, how does she have place in a crew like Shepard's? Christ. Oh and in ME2 it gets worse, if possible! She tries so hard to sound tough and intimidating, that the ending result is ridiculous and laughable.

1. Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonba: The name might not say much, but this is the female quarian who Tali had known since she was a baby (Tali's mother's friend). She've voiced by Shohreh Aghdashloo. Her somewhat rusty voice is just amazing, fits perfect with the quarians and the best of all voices in my opinion.

I like all of those voices plus Zaeed.  I was originally sad that Wrex wasn't recruitable but Zaeed is a suitable replacement.

There's very few voices i dislike in ME2, i think all the voice actors are well cast as in all of Bioware games.

Like: FemShepard hands down - suits the renegade path down to a tee.

Zaeed - would like it even more if you could actually engage him in proper conversation. Honourable mentions to Admiral Xen, Garrus, Illusive Man, Tali, Han'Gerrel and Wrex.



Dislike: Grunt (vastly inferior to Wrex's voicework, surprising as I like him as Oghren in DA:O)

I didnt like Paragon Sherpard but the Renegade Shepard is awesome

I don't really *hate* any voice. They were all done amazingly well, but my least favorite would probably be Liara's.

My favorite is Tali, her accent is just excellent. Thane's is also great.

Edit: Actually, I hate FemShep's voice with a passion.

If you want to hear something REALLY bad, then just listen to the german male Shepard... this happens when a cheaper studio than the last one gets the contract for dubbing ME2.



The voice is not that bad... but it's not a main actor voice... it has its own effect for short conversations, but as main character? Naaahhh...







While watching the video, I notice that the german Illusive Man has a good voice, but bad acting skills

Tali's is awesome. I really didn't like Liara's voice. Like it's a weird combination of trying to be calm and emotionless mixed with trying to show some sort of emotion. I also think Jacob's voice when you romance him is ****ing hilarious:

I never understood why games/movies/TV series has to be dubbed in countries like Germany or Spain. You'd think that people can read so texts would be enough.

ME2 couldnt actually improve on ME1s voice acting, only match it, and thankfully it did match it perfectly.

My favourite would be Liara by far. Nobody even comes close IMO. Well, maybe Tali since she gives just about one of the most realistic portrayals of grief Ive ever seen in a video game. But still, nowhere near Liara.

Dislike? Thats a tough one..... Probably a tie between Miranda and Jacob. Their VA was as mundane as their characters. Mirandas loyalty mission was okay I guess, but it was most enjoyable at the end when she shut the hell up and just cried a little.

I actually think everybody did a great job with the acting. I do not recall ever not liking somebody's voice. Great job as ever with the voice acting Bioware.

- Tali's voice is the best and those rolling r's are extremely sexy.

- Miranda's is nice too, finally not a north american accent.

- While I dislike the character, Morinth's voice is extremely well done.

Actually, the majority of voiceactors do a pretty good job. I'm not too fond of MaleShep's voice though.

Liara: I always disliked her, she's so boring, and her voice is... BORING!

Jacob: His voice is weird. It sounds like he has no emotion!
