I just went to buy the spirit healer tome from warrdens keep, after buying it with my main charecter and realizing I had to have morrigan selected to get it for her, I re-loaded and now the book isn't there, it also isn't in Denirim. Reloading from previous save games doesn't help either.

It won't. It doesn't give the Sprit Healer specialisation, it 'enables' it for any of your characters and is hit for the account, so you do not need to buy it again.



If you want Morrigan to become a Spirit Healer, you now simply have to wait until she is level 7 or 14 and spend the "Specialisation Point" on it for her.

My understanding was that specialization unlocks work for everyone, in party or not.

Oh okay thanks. Still though when I've reloaded I can't buy it again so what do I do, wait until she levels up again and hope I have the point? cause the books are gone from both places to buy them and I don't have the save right after I bought it. I also have the same amount of money from before buying the tome, so I'm really confused now.

Open Morrigan's character page. Click the "Level Up" button at the bottom on the right side.

It works like achievements. They bind to your profile and not your save file so you can use them on all saves.

Yeah no it's not on her character page either. It's not showing anywhere that I've gotten that specialization option for anyone. The books are gone, and I just think it's a bug. She is about to hit level 14 though so maybe it will show up then. 

However this is still very confusing, since when I reload to previous saves the books are gone from both vendors. That doesn't seem right.

No that's how it's supposed to work. Like I accidentally double posted before they aren't bound to save files. Once you get them on one they become available on ALL files, like achievements.

So then even if it works out for me, isn't that a cheat in a way, since I now don't have to spend the money to get that specialization just by reloading the save game file after I buy it?

It's cheap, yes. But it does work that way.

Well there's your problem.

Morrigan already has one specialisation (Shapeshifter), and that's the point she earns at level 7.  She doesn't get a second point until level 14.
