But honestly half your crew is ex Alliance and unless the alliance has really changed i don't think they would like to return.

I hated Cerberus in ME1. But, they didn't abandon me, my cause and start a slanderous smear campaign against me the minute I went cold in space.



Cerberus has proved that despite their distasteful methods (which both Jacob and I take offence at) they are the only institution in the galaxy with the balls to get things done.

Even in my second play through I still have a tough time siding with and trusting Cerberus. I still side more with the Alliance, than Cerberus. I guess seeing all the shady stuff they did in the first game keeps me from being a Cerberus supporter. Add to that the illusive man screwing with me and withholding information, well that just makes my allegiance even more clear.

Definetly Alliance for me, but only when I get the Reaper existence proof (well u get it in the end of ME2).

Screw the alliance....AND the council. They'll just call you a liar no matter what you tell them or SHOW them and if you work for them you'll be stuck on dead end assignments like scouting obscure areas for Geth and not be allowed to do a thing about the reapers.



Cerberus hasn't done anything wrong by me. Sure they had and may have a few experiments driven by questionable methods but they do what is necessary to advance ourselves(humanity) to the point where we'll be capable of actually fighting the reapers.
