If given the option in ME3, will you stay with Cerberus or rejoin the Alliance?

I'd just work directly for the Council as a Spectre. Sure, they might not be much direct help, but they give you what you need and stay out of the way afterwards (as long as you do your job).

Cerberus.

Good and Evil is based upon the intent of ones actions, the Alliance and the Council have proven it's mostly apathetic approach is not for the greater good.

IMHO....There are two sides in this war, one is an asset while the other is a liability. My actions through Cerberus can benefit all despite what the image of the orginazation as a whole is known for. The Alliance and the Council only want my actions to benefit them. If only I could assassinate a few people.....

I would go back to Ashley and the Alliance for sure, as long as they are just a little more assertive.

Cerberus - They took the Reaper threat seriously and that's all I need to know. The Alliance fought against Sovereign so should know better than anyone about the threat the Reapers pose. Instead they try and sweep it all under the carpet and discredit Shep as a paranoid loon.

Neither the Alliance or Cerberus are trustworthy, so it comes down to who has the stones for the fight with the Reapers. The Alliance certainly don't.

They wouldn't allow you to look into the reaper threat and call your every word and piece of evidence a lie or a delusion. They'd have you do what you were doing when you died.....keep an eye out for the geth....who are no longer a problem at all....not like they'd ever believe that either.

Do you think the council would build you a new ship? Or bring you back to life? They didn't even bother confirming your death much less attempt to recover your body.

Tough call, tbh...Guess my soldier paragon Shep would be Alliance, as he's a military man (all 'yessir', 'nosir'.) Whilst my paragon infiltrator would be inclined to take up his Spectre role, flip the finger to the Council with a big 'I told ya so!' and take down Cereberus.

Then again my Renegade Sentinel would probably want to take over Cereberus for his own ends! >:)

I hate both the Alliance and Cerberus, can I have the third option of keeping my Spectre status and tell everyone else to shove it up their exhaust ports while I am out saving the universe.

I've gone full paragon, both games. I'd stick with Cerberus. I couldn't get anything done with all the Council's hinderances and the Alliance's protocols and restrictions and annoying inspections. Cerberus, while having committed many terrible acts, gets the job done and doesn't care about how I do it. They don't restrict me, and their human supremist ideals at least make them obsessed with destroying the reapers.

I hated Cerberus in ME1. But, they didn't abandon me, my cause and start a slanderous smear campaign against me the minute I went cold in space.

Cerberus has proved that despite their distasteful methods (which both Jacob and I take offence at) they are the only institution in the galaxy with the balls to get things done.

I agree 100%
The Alliance and Council really failed in their duties and Cerberus is the only one willing to take the threat down.

Galaxy Spectre and System Alliance.

Cerberus is a criminal organization still wanted for the death of Admiral Kahoku and other crimes from ME1.

I'd be heading back to the Alliance, though I would be trying to do some serious cleaning of the upper ranks. Hackett for the win though, Hackett for the win.

Cerberus, the Alliance has too much red tape to cut through to do anything.

Actually, screw Cerberus and the Alliance, I'm forming my own organisation. Not like it would be hard, I'm Shepard Saviour of the frickin galaxy! ^_^
