If given the option in ME3, will you stay with Cerberus or rejoin the Alliance?

I'd go freelance, I don' trust TIM, but I do trust my crew, even Miranda

The alliance and council have earned my dislike so I don't really want anything to do with them either, especially that Turian counilor, I want to punch him in the face, or even better, use a bioic throw on him

Neither. The Illusive Man is a megalomaniac and the Alliance boned me by refusing to acknowledge the Reaper threat.

Well lets see..

I disagree with putting humans as the leaders of the galaxy....HOWEVER

Who brought me back to life?

Who gave me all the intel to help find the Collectors?

Who gave me access to a new and awesome squad? (Especially Mordin and Jack)

Who built me a much better Normandy?

Who are the ones who actually believe me about the Reapers?

Who actually helped me stop the Collectors?

I may not agree with Cerberus but they are definitely the ones who are gonna help me get the job done.

The Alliance gave up on me, Cerberus didnt but has been known to do unethical projects. I figure remove the Illusive man from main power and kick him down from the throne. Take over and rebuild it in my own image that serves the galaxy and helps all sentient life. After all, were not the only ones in this galaxy.

LONG LIVE THE A.S.F.! *Ahem* sorry, missing TR

Alliance and I would love to bring TIM down. I would be "disappointed" if that can't be done.

Neither. I have the most badass ship in the galaxy at my disposal and a crew of infinite badassary. I finished the game by informing TIM just how much bull**** he's sending across the comm and told him to stay out of my way. Meanwhile, the Alliance can suck it for all I care. So can the council. I'll take Jack's advice and go pirate.

Freelance. I'm a Spectre so technically no longer part of the Alliance anyway. Having a ship and crew that doesn't belong to any organisation, at least not since it was "liberated" from Cerberus, makes things alot easier. Helps you avoid certain lockdown situations ala ME.

I'm thinking Shepard won't be able to get the job done only by himself. He is going to need backing of at least one major player in my opinion. I would prefer the Alliance, but in order to save the galaxy, I am willing to hookup with Cerberus again, even if I gave them the cold shoulder before.

Since I blew up the station, there's no option for me. I'm with the Council.

If I could I would form my own organization, but if I had to make a choose between the Alliance and Cerberus I would join the Alliance.

I leave the Council to get Reaper raped.

I would stay Cerberus, then eventually try to replace the Illusive Man, take over the place and make it more politically correct.

Both Alliance and Cerberus let me handle things the way I wanted (for the most part). Cerberus resurrected me, but on the other hand some of the stuff they do is questionable at best. So yeah, eventually take over Cerberus, hand it over to...hmm Miranda(?) so I can build that house for miss vas Normandy :)

My Prime Save says:

I told TIM already i quit. I got my Spectre Status back and i am ready to fight for the council.

If i got to decide between Alliance and Cerberus? Both can kiss my tuchy. They can fall in Line behind me and aid me in what i am doing, but i expect to be back as a spectre.

And i send the Data on Cerberus to the alliance. In my Prime Save i have done almost every single action to screw Cerberus over. I didn't forget the way Cerberus acted in ME1 and all their inhuman experiments. I am all for Jack on this save. And as far as i am concerned my Prime Save is the "canon" decision for my Mass Effect Universe. All other Saves are just to see effects on the decisions i didn't take.

The other 3 saves look like this:

Council Saved - Back to Spectre - Didn't blow up the Base - Saved Data on Cerberus to blackmail them if needed

Council Dead - Back to Spectre - Didn't blow up the Base - Send Data (and Legion) on Cerberus to Cerberus

Council Dead - Didn't return to Spectre - Blow up the Base - Kept Data on Cerberus

I might do a Council Alive - Non Spectre run through shortly before ME3 gets out (to refresh my mind on the ME2 story)

Alliance all the way. TIM is sneaky, has creepy eyes, and I don't trust him.

Plus, the Alliance has Kaiden. Obvious winner.

I already gave the alliance the Cerberus data, so I do not want to be anywhere near that when it is added as canon in ME3 to the Corporal Tombs / Cerberus scientist investigation. So ya Alliance

Stay with Cerberus. They may be madmen but they are madmen with a plan. Which is more then I can say about others on this rock.

Don't want to be either. Cerberus are unscrupulous bastards; the second I become more trouble than I'm worth (and I will be, since I play Paragon) they'll put a bullet in my head, plain and simple. If his 'investment' starts doing damage, I'm sure the Illusive Man's got no problem with cracking my skull open, and keeping the SR2 to fight the Reapers.

The Alliance are forced to bow down to the Council, and there're also radical pro-human elements in it (there're always radical elements in a large organisations), meaning that some of them will sympathise with Cerberus and their methods. Cerberus might even have men inside the Alliance, meaning that my Shepard still isn't safe after pissing off the Illusive Man. Also, even if the Council completely purges the Alliance, then they've got their heads in the sand 99% of the time.

So, if given the option, I'd do it like this: freelance, and ask Captain Anderson if he help from within the Council. The Normandy has enough supplies, and the crew probably won't be running off since we know that there's a much bigger threat on the horizon; Anderson can try using Council resources/surveillance to give Shepard some direction and keep him informed on what the Council might do about him (i.e: where the hit-squads are landing once they know he's left them AND Cerberus).

Sound good? I personally think that freelancing is the option for the Paragon Shepard, as he's a good guy; not a complete idiot. He knows that, unless he hauls a goddamn living reaper to the Citadel, that they'll never even glance at any evidence he finds, or aid him in any way. Screw Spectre status - Shepard's a legend, it's almost the same thing.
