If given the option in ME3, will you stay with Cerberus or rejoin the Alliance?

Well, they say a man is judged by the strength of his enemies.

I think that that's vague enough to not be a spoiler.
Anyway, I maxed out my Paragon rating, and this last choice is the only intentionally "Renegade" thing I've done all game. I took the high-road as much as possible, and so I think I mitigated the Renegade points I earned fairly well, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how all of this affects ME3.
Cerberus FTW.

Council sucks. Alliance sucks. TIM... is a tad upset ;>

If the Alliance or Cerberus wants to support the Council and myself, they are free to do so.

However, it must be noted that Cerberus is not fully at odds with the Alliance. There are some healthy elements within the Alliance, that support Cerberus (which used to be a part of it). Alliance just needs to be purged of all the unhealthy elements, that keep holding it back.
P. S. TIM for the Emperor!

With Cerberus all the way. To the very end. Galaxy isn't worth saving if Mankind isn't going to rule it.

QFT Cerberus all the way. Screw those Alliance and council cowards that just want to hide their heads in the sand and pretend the reapers don't exist. We can shoot them after we're done with the reapers.

I'm not gunning for total domination. I'm not trying to go for some sort of Galactic Gestapo. All I want is Humanity to have a secure position in the universe. The Council and the Alliance have already proven, TWICE, that they are unwilling or incapable of allowing Humanity to grow at their own pace, and are extremely hesitant to give us the respect that we deserve as a Council race, and saviors of the galaxy. They have thrown off all vestiges of debt to the humans who saved their way of living, and I am sick of it. I'm sick of being told I'm wrong, but proven right.
Cerberus has the right idea. TIM is a bit out there at times, and I foresee a lot of head-ramming, but he's the only one who is CLEARLY pulling for humanity. I don't feel like I'm being manipulated at all, because I believe in what TIM is doing (to a degree), but I also believe he needs a balancing force within Cerberus, or he will get well out of hand. My Shepard follows the Paragon path, but has fully integrated himself within the Cerberus organization. From where I sit, it's the only chance we have. They are the only ones who believe we are in danger of the Reaper invasion, and so they're the only ones preparing for it. Going back to the Alliance, to the Council, and watching as they squander what little time they have left on political machinations and frivolity would be exactly like signing our own death warrant. It's enough to make me want to go Renegade, and watch them die in the next installment. I won't, but I'll be damned if I don't want to.

Cerberus would be fine if it weren't so unorthodox and morally ambiguous (Bioware probably made it that way to spice things up anyway). IMO there should be a renegade option for Shep to assassinate the Illusive Man (who thinks the Shep in front of him is just another holo) and take over as the Cerberus leader. Then he can sit in a chair all day long and look at stars
And there'd be an intercom to invite your LI up to the office so you can watch the giant star screen together too...

Screw it. I'm going rogue, and I'm taking my team with me. If the alliance and the council don't like it, they're plenty welcome to do something about it. Plus I've managed to ****** off TIM and he won't just let that slide, I've put a serious dent in the Blue Suns, Eclipse, and the Blood Pack so they all want my head on a pike and to top it all off, the Reapers have made it personal.
Well, they say a man is judged by the strength of his enemies.
Amen. Shepard's going to save the galaxy on her/his terms and damn the consequences and anyone standing in her/his way.

Surely you should know given that you appear to be a fan of Liara that...it was going to [spoiler] you over to the [spoilers]. Revenge is the clearly the only realistic option AND obviously Liara's loyalty quest in ME3.
I have a paragon and a renegade play-though of ME2 as a did with ME1 so both for me.
On a personal level I'm with Ashley on this one Alliance through and through.

The alliance need to offer me something pretty nice apart from getting their heads out of their asses...
Cerberus gave me the Normandy sr2, revived me and let me do my job when the alliance ****ed up that is why i have the right to make demands

BUT.
If you played the game to the end it sort of feels like depending on the option you make it looks like you and the crew go their own way.
This thread belongs in the spoiler forum , you can't really discuss what you would chose without talking about game content.
With Cerberus you're just a tool to be used, with the Alliance they never believe you and basically you're just a necessary evil they use to get what they want.
So it would be best if Shepard was alone with his crew and either or both organizations come calling for you.
I want some damn respect.

I don't get some of these pro-ceberus posts because it's insane to think that humanity alone can defeat the reaper invasion. It's going to take the combined efforts of the whole galaxy and a nice ship and some cool gear isn't going to cut it.
The powerful council races will never align themselves with a totalitarian human terrorist organization, it's a hard enough task even for the alliance and they saved the council. Cerberus will never be able to reach out to the rest of the galaxy even if they wanted to which they don't.

Sure, they want humanity to dominate the galaxy, but I'm human, Miranda's human, and I don't care about the rest, so I'm good

If I can't then Specter first, don't really like alliance, especially not Cerberus.
