for a long time i thought i was the best ME1 player who ever lived. launching enemies into space. throwing them across the map. snipeing from 250+. i guess playing a biotic sortof makes you feel that way. oh well, you can come over and watch me play if you want.

Hell yeah, Xbox videos ftw. Granted most of our fights on Xbox require pause since we're not fortunate to have enough bindings for all our abilities. :/

Sometimes the Sentinel really feels like god mode, other times his master of nothing really sticks out, but I'm only just now finishing up Horizon and I don't even have the Tempest yet, so I'm sure things will change soon enough. I'm still not sure what weapon I want to get off the ship though. It's either going to be an assault rifle or the shotgun though. Sniper is just too wobbly without any dilation abilities. One thing is for sure though, after beating Insanity with a Soldier, the Sentinel seems much more durable, and that's when always having Adrenaline Rush up when shooting anything. Less damage due to the lack of a Revenant, but a lot more survivability.
I think I focused too much on Tech Armor because no matter what it always seems to explode.
Which did you take? I took Assault and whichever passive reduces the cooldown the most. The only time it seems to explode "too much" is if I'm running through an area with 3-4 collectors plus a harbinger focus firing on me. Otherwise it usually explodes with not much more than a second left for the cooldown on a recast. My biggest problem with the Sentinel is that my allies just die way too much, especially the brain dead Miranda and it doesn't matter if I park her in a corner.

Here's a vid of my assault sentinel on the last section of Grunt's recruitment. I tried to go as fast as I could, so it's not perfect. I should probably take it slower with this class I think. And take Miranda for this one. Next time, maybe.
Man, you got mad skillz
I thought the SMG was crap, but after seeing that video, I might have to change my mind..
I'd like to see you do the same level with a Vanguard.

@Gatsby: Your videos have been quite inspirational! My biggest complaint with the Sentinel was lack of CC but you've done well to show how effective Assault Armor is.
I tried to go the whole Power Armor, max out Warp and Overload, AP Ammo bonus power path... but Power Armor is just not strong enough to last long periods of time to get the additional damage bonuses and it's cooldown is quite long.
I think maybe Energy Drain would help with that. I know I'm losing out on two points here but i think this build could be quite effective:
10 - Tech Armor (Power Armor)
10 - Warp
10 - Energy Drain
10 - Defender (Raider)
6 - Cryo
3 - Throw

Keep in mind, you can't put points into Cryo without having 3 points in overload...

You should also consider an ammo power with that build since ammo powers increase in damage with power damage bonuses i.e. raider.

Its actually 2 points. Anyways its best to max out any skill you put any points into 90% of the time.

3 skill points, Rank 2: 1 point for rank one overload + 2 points for rank 2. Check it: http://masseffect.wi...m/wiki/Sentinel

Throw 3
Heavy Warp 10
Power Armor 10
Overload 3
Cryoblast 3
Raider 10
Energy Drain 10
To what you said I did use energy drain to keep my shields up and as you can see it replaced my overload ability. I only put points into overload so I could get cryo blast. I love that move and it has saved my but a many a times. =)
