What's that white thing on his left side cheek next to his mouth?

You can click the picture for a larger image.

I assume he gave himself a nose piercing sometime after he lost his sight.

It's to compensate for the lack of a left ear. Self-image issues.

Are you sure he isn't compensating for something else?

For all we know, he lost his tongue! Poor guy...Image IPB

Way off topic, but man that took me back, like flashbacks of being 8 and playing this game, but :

www.youtube.com/watch

The artwork is pretty sexually ambiguous, I guess it's a male, very feminin facial and body structure though.

Are feminine males popular in the Americas? I know they are in Japan.

Well the US is a special case, We don't really have a seperate culture, if it's popular somewhere else in the world, you can bet there is at least a subset somewhere around here thats into it.  It's jsut not asia though, I lived in Europe for a few years, Germany for the majority of the time, one of the things that stood out for me was how "limp wristed" most of the guys were.  The fact they were rollerblading while listnig to and singing Britney Spears might have contributed to that though.

Guys I am pretty sure the dude on the first post is the architect and not the skeletor looking guy because from the Dragon age books the Architect was like a mage because it said he used magic this is just what i got from looking it up on the wiki and for why he sounds kind of peaceful is because he is not a straight up lets kill all living thing kind of bad guy more of the sick Whatever it takes for "peace" kind of guy it even says he wants to bring peace between the Darkspawn and all other races

But on topic lol I think the guy on the first page is the Architect

Which wiki are you using? This one shows an image of the Architect.

At first I thought you were talking about WoW.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Has bioware said the image is actually the architect though I am just basing this off of what I read about the character from the book

The referencing to the Architect as your nemesis coupled with the picture with the text "be ready to meet your new nemesis" in this:  http://pc.ign.com/ar.../1058656p1.html interview would lead me to think that skeletor is indeed the architect.

Otherwse, it's very misleading to say the least. Yay for copy/paste!

I'd have a hard time believing that piercing boy is any kind of darkspawn. Skeletor has to be The Architect.

I think the Skeletor darkspawn is The Architect. In the book "The Calling" they describe what The Architect looks like and the "hawt lich guy" no way fits the description.

Skeletor IS the Architect. He's a hyper intelligent Darkspawn who can accelerate the taint in Grey Wardens and basically turn them into thinking Darkspawn just like him. The Calling makes that pretty clear.

He is NOT some sort of effeminate Arcane Horror, which is what the guy on the OP appears to be.

I'm not sure where he (the op) got it from, first impession I got was concept art for an arcane horror maybe.

Feminine, not effeminate!

The Skeleton picture or the Lich picture? They’re both from the Awakening website along with the Blight Werewolves.

It's obviously an important part of Awakening, but it ain't the Architect. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the ol Bioware bait and switch at work. Spend DAO fighting Loghain when the big bad is actually the Archdemon. Spend ME fighting Saren while the big bad is actually Sovereign, Spend Awakenings fighting The Architect when the big bad is actually some kind of weird Arcane Horror.

Yea, the Architect is Skeletor.

And the Lich Guy, he reminds me of something out of a Guillermo Del Toro movie, specifically "Pan's Labyrinth". I don't think he could be one of the original magisters though. I think this guy is something new.

The first pic's elongated, Admiral Ackbar-like cranium reminds me of the Tzimisce from Bloodlines.  If he's a villain, hopefully he won't be as inadvertently hilarious as that guy was.
