Ive had a look around, but not really found an answer to this.
is it possible to open the main campeign in the toolset, it would be nice to see how bioware do things (especially scripting)

Below is a post made by Bryan Derksen of BioWare on the subject. This might need to be clarified though in the future.
"The database resources for the main campaign are not currently included with the toolset install, so it's not going to be easy right off the bat. But once those resources are available it should be quite possible and relatively straightforward for end users to make use of the same system that we do internally to "patch in" new content to the main campaign. It basically consists of a 2DA that causes a script you've written to be run whenever the player enters a specified area, and then using that script to insert new creatures or placeables into the area.
http://social.biowar...n_existing_area gives an overview of how this works in a bit more detail."

This is really to bad since this basically mean that we cannot extend the main game in any way. Does anybody have an ETA of when the official compaign will be made available for edit?

Actually, you can add new locations to the main campaign (like how the DLC does), and then run your own quests from those locations pretty easily.

We will release the entire Single Player campaign content so you can see how we did things, and you can change them to your hearts' content. However, I cannot give you an ETA, as the timeline is still being discussed. It will definitely not come out until we have the first toolset patch out and some other things a bit more stabilized.

Also it goes without saying that playing with the main campaign in the toolset increases your chances of totally screwing up the main campaign by.. quite alot. But I thought I'd say it anyway

Fair enough. As long as we know it is coming down the line I am very happy.
Thank you for the feedback.
