She states that Asari like Morinth only occur from Asari/Asari couplings and thats why pure bloods are looked down on. So, why not accept Shepard or some other alien to have children she won't have to hunt down and kill?
Why doesn't Samara find an alien to have children with?

Maybe because she wanted to have children with those she was attracted to and so far they all have been Asari?
She didn't even know she carried the recessive trait until her first child had reached puberty.

By the time she found out any of her children were afflicted, she already had all three. After Morinth ran away, she became a Justicar to hunt her down.

You're acting like her children are something she would just want to replace. Besides, the reason she became a Justicar was to hunt down Morinth. She doesn't want a new family. She wants to correct the mistake she made by having one in the first place.

The actual problem is with Samara herself..ANY children she has with any species will be this way. she is the pure bred.

She already tried to have a family, and it turned out horrible, she doesn't want to try that route again.
How callous would you have to be to just go off and "try, try again" after hunting down and killing your child for a condition that they couldn't control that was passed on to them from you in the HOPES that it won't happen again? Because just because it happens more often in pure bloods, doesn't mean that Samara who we KNOW has it in her genes won't pass it on to another child even if it is NOT a pure-blood. Asari only use other spcies DNA to randomize their own.

No the Ardat Yakshi itself must be a pureblood also, but as stated all 3 of them were already born before the trait manifested when the first reached maturity, then morinth ran away and she gave up her possibility of having a new family to correct her mistake by becoming a justic

When Samara said it's a genetic disorder of Asari purebloods, she's speaking of herself. Listen to what she says carefully. Samara herself is an Asari pureblood and she is a carrier of the genetic trait that causes her children to be Ardat-Yakshi. She never mentions whether this only happens if she mates with another Asari or if it happens no matter who she mates with. I believe this is why she turns Shepard's advances down.

I was just going off what a dev mentioned that any children she had would be as such...Now, I know her daughters are pure blood too, I was also under the assumption that she was as well.Draconis6666 wrote...

She also is getting quite old. Really who would want to be raising another brat when you hit the big 1,000.
