They both do magic *if* this is the same dude. The facial markings are different around the eye, but maybe the guy likes a bit of makeup to fancy up for the screenshots some days, who knows.

They do not seem to be the same people.
Chainmail Skeletor dude 1: Blue armour and spiked right pauldron.
Chainmail Skeletor dude 2: Red armour, no spiked pauldron.
They have different facial markings as you pointed out.

It could be they are different lackeys of the Architect. Hell one could be Bregan the other Remille. Nothing in the trailer does even say that they are on the same side - just that both oppose the player.

Don't know why but he reminds me of Fable for some reason.

Regardless, he's dead upon arrival.(he just doesn't know it yet)

Nah it's not the Chainmail, maybe the colors or body figure.

can anyone quote a description of him from the book? i'm not sure if the feather like thingy on his head is part of the armor or his scale.

All three of those guys have both of their hands. The Architect lost his hand and therefore would have had to do something to replace it to be one of those three. It's possible, now try and follow this, that not one of them is the Architect. Bioware has not pointed out, "Here's the Architect." The guy in the red seems to be just as likely of a canidate as the guy in the blue so I really don't know why people are so convinced they know the Architect's identity. And yes, the red and blue guy are completely different.

For me a Skeletor is a through the taint corrupted Grey Warden. The same like Utha. Maybe there are some Warden friends that transform during the expansion, like in the Calling, and you have to stop them

Well, if that is the case, I have to wonder if we can get one of the Skeletor types to do a "heel face turn" and become a secret companion for the expansion. I could definitely see my mage recruiting one of them, especially if they are corrupted wardens.

Yeah, would be cool if the chainmail people were "changed" humans/wardens.

When i first saw the 2 i thought that the skeletor is the Arhtiect as in the book he was described as having a grin smile (due to not having skin as lips, and his teeth were visible) and having fishy eyes. I thought that the lich guy is a mage (like Remille, the one who betrayed Maric in the second book to ally with the Arhitect).

Now as the lich guy is on the frist page when you click on the Awakenings page, and being constant in the background in the right, he must be the Arhitect. Also i saw a little dwarf behind him when he says "So you are the commander of the Grey wardens?" in the trailer (just as you have) and that might be Utha. But Utha's hair has fallen, while that dwarf has red hair still.

If the lich guy is the Arhitect, the design team really made him a cool boss! My favourite to be exact. I am really curious to learn more about him, like why is he different.

the armor looks nothing like how it does on the Architect on the P.C. or companions. looks like tevinter robes but with more gray.

Something I just noticed: In this picture, the Commander has his helmet on, in my cinematic thingy, he didn't. hmmm
