When i did my one and only first run of ME 1 way back I really didnt think i would get addicted to the story and all as I now find myself. So last week i ordered a new copy of ME 1 from amazon and want to re-run in making first a femshep instead of a male and this time playing paragon instead of renegade to get some better results this time!
I played ME 1 and ME 2 on insanity but want to simply get through ME 1 kinda fast for the import of the shep I actually want. Would i be losing out on anything besides free ME 2 levels right off the back if i slap ME 1 on easy to rush through and not get to lvl 60?
Losing out when replaying ME 1?

I don't think your level matters for imports
Just the choices and your renegade/paragon alignment unless I'm mistaken

Don't think so. You can hit level 59 in one playthrough anyhow, and that will get you up to level 4 right off the bat.

You won't actually be able to get past level 50 unless you still have your old profile with the level cap unlocked. But no, you won't miss anything except freebies for ME2.
You can always manually unlock the level 50 cap and cheat your way to 60 if you want to though.

If you mean item-wise in ME 2? No, you shouldn't, but if you go create a new character in ME 2 they decide what choices you made in ME1 and you may not like them...
