I recently finished the game twice off the same save and I'm wondering which is gonna count for ME3 when I import it. I beat it once but Miranda died, then I tried again and everyone lived (woot). Do you think I'll have two options of the same career to import? I peeked at New Game+ and there's only one option. Maybe it takes the most recent completion of a certain career. Any ideas?

Or maybe I shouldn't worry worry about this cause who knows when ME3 will come out...

Both should count from what I recall. Then again I'm probably wrong given my track record on such things.

Well if this helps, I know for my ME1 character it gave me the options of using my first career (level 35) or my second (55). It might be that way for ME3 too

Interesting...I just hope I'll be able to tell the two apart since they'll be the same level. Ah well, guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Mostly I just want to start playing ME3 right now!

if they do the saves the way the did from ME1 you have nothing to worry about. I had about 15 or so save from ME1 and I saw them all as starting points for ME2.( Councel lived, councel died etc,)Hopefully they don't change that formula cause I like playing them all to see different outcomes of the game... I have every romance saved so I was loyal to Ash, expierienced a romance with Mirand Jack and Tali. Looking fwd to seeing how each will play out

its different in ME 3. since you continue after the final mission in ME 2, any save you have (visible in the load screen) that is after the final mission can be imported.

Ah cool. I never played the first one so I wasn't sure how the importing worked. So it tells you about some of the big decisions you made when importing?

This is a fairly interesting question because there is no 'final save' like in ME1 and I wonder how DLC will affect the situation since the DLC is supposed to help bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3.

yes. I'm currently playing 2 different stories 1 were the councel was saved and another were they weren't. Also playing 1 were I was a Rennagade and 1 were I was a Paragon. So you pick your desired save, it loads and tells you about most of the major decisions you made in the previous game hope that helps...

if you got "bringing down the sky" from ME1 I believe the game takes that into account too. I heard an extranet report on the Citidal that, the Baterrian leader was still at large and it fits b/c I let him go to save the hostages
