Well you have a level 30 Infiltrator as is, so why don't you tell me what build you play with on hardcore. Once I have a better understanding for your playstyle, I'll be in a better position to help you.

4/4 squad disruptor ammo
4/4 incineration blast
1/4 ai hack
4/4 assassination cloak
4/4 operative assassin
4/4 armor piercing or warp ammo - up to you really, its debatable though i personally prefer armor piercing
for all squadmates i highly recommend all the aoe evolutions for their skills. this includes warp, overload, reave, throw, pull, etc.

Infiltrators are good when their squadmates can distract or control the enemy while you pick them off one by one. Tali or Legion becomes a good squad member with their Drone. Miranda is viable with her overload, Cerberus Leader, Slam and Warp. Grunt has potential with concussive shot and incinderary ammo. In my opinion, Infiltrators have the most versatility out of any class. However, you'll probably have a better chance of not dying with people that can CC or distract, imo..
Mind you, when I played my Infiltrators, I was still trying to understand the game's playstyle, so I never focused on my squad mates. I'm debating about playing another Infiltrator (would be my third) on Insanity. That or an Adept or Vanguard.

@Jaekahn so like what squad would you use for an infiltrator in insanity? i know you gave names and stuff but which one would be best? You think Tali/Grunt? cuz i know grunt can attract a lot of attention and when you get his Krogan Vitality up his health is ridiculous...so you think that would be a good combo?

It's very situational. For example, there's no point in bringing Legion and Tali to a heavy organic fight while there's no point in bring Jacob and Mordin to an all Synthetic Fight.
Basically, Miranda's probably the most liable squadmate for an Infiltrator. Her passive buff to weapon damage, having possession of both warp and overload and also gaining Slam through her loyalty is very helpful. I would take someone that also has biotics when you use her though.
Aside from her, the other squadmates have their uses.
Mordin benefits in organic fights.
Tali vs synthetics or heavy collector fights (Drone can be very beneficial against Harbinger).
Zaeed's not really that helpful since you already have disruptor ammo.
Garrus' overload combined with Miranda's can be good against heavy merc missions.
Grunt is useful in all circumstances mainly because he rarely dies and he does so much damage. Also, his incinderay ammo is good vs organics.
On the IFF station, you definately want to bring Grunt and Mordin for max incineration damage.
Other than that, you basically have to trust your instinct on who you bring. I haven't played an Infiltrator on Insanity yet (Debating about doing so), but I've played an Engineer which shares the same squad composition, or similar squad composition. Hope this helps you.

What he said, i prefer warp over armor piercing though. You only get 20% extra health and armor damage with armor piercing wich is mosly just a overkill anyway. And the biggest weakness the infiltrator has is barriers. Thats exactly how my infiltrator is built at least. Although i have heavy incinerate.Atmosfear3 wrote...
