Was I the only one who gave Legion back to Cerberus?

I feel like everyone took Legion as a squadmate, while I gave him to cerberus and left without him.

I felt like he would betray me in the long run. Yes, I understand the different factions of Geth and that he was the true Geth, but I still don't trust it.

And before anyone points it out, YES I trust Cerberus and YES I gave them the collector base. I want the Illusive Man on my side and I would rather Cerberus experiment on Legion and the base to help me out later.

Yes I think you're on your own on that one. Legion is too cool for words. You find out alot about the Geth from him

I couldn't bring myself to trust Cerberus after running into them randomly during ME1, and how badly your old friends (like Liara, Ash, and Anderson) react when you say anything about working with them. I trusted those people's opinion... then the Illusive man sells you out during the mission to explore the 'disabled' collector ship... and I dunno... maybe it's the creepy eyes or the way his cigarette kinda looks like a joint from some angles... or maybe it's the fact it's charlie sheen's dad doing the voice, but something about Illusive man just doesn't sit right with me. I didn't need the council to beat Sovereign, I didn't need the Illusive man to beat the collectors. But kudos for exploring an admittedly unpopular story path...

But you kept a psychopathic biotic, a justicar, an assassin on your team?

ok

I tried to kill Joker because I felt he was a Batarian spy and would kill us all.

And you didn't feel like Cerberus would betray you in the long run? I wouldn't give them the time of day.

I tried to kill Miranda because she was perfect and would try to kill us all imperfect humans.

No the psychopath I intentionaly killed. If I could have gotten rid of her sooner I would. Justicar and Assassin, yes I kept them because they were never my enemy...like the geth were.

So you don't trust Legion, but you do trust Cerberus?

That's kind of ridiculous, no offense.

Except Legion was never your enemy, unlike Cerberus.

There should have been an option to blast Legion out of an airlock, as Jacob suggested. Not that I would ever choose it.

they might...but I like serving a powerful organization. Call me naive but Cerberus has lots of money and power. They gave me Normandy SR2 and rebuilt me. I owed them, and now they owe me for giving them Legion and the base. They're on my side.

Not former enemies necissarily. You can't say you didn't serve cerberus at all in ME2 because there was not a choice. Therefore, Shepard was scripted to side with them to some extant.

I spent all of ME1 killing geth...and I'm expected to suddenly trust one?!?!? They killed Tali's father!! They are wageing war on the Quarians! All Cerberus is doing is bettering human-kind. Why is that so hard to trust?

All the Geth want to do is make their own future. Why is that so hard to trust? And if you hadn't sent Legion away, you'd finf out that it's the Quarians waging war on the Geth.

He's a really interesting character. I think most of us just didn't want to miss a squad mate on our first playthrough. You can skip waking Grunt, too.

From a RP perspective, its the logical thing to do. But legion is too cool for school.

Hell, I don't even activate Legion, and I certainly would NOT give it to Cerberus.

Not trust it, but narratively your curiosity must be piqued and you would want to ask it about the armor or why did it save you when you were at teh derelict reaper, if it wanted to kill you it could have done so then.

Also you spent all of ME1 killing Krogan, did you also destroy Grunt's tank?

They killed Tali's father!!

Um... so?

They are wageing war on the Quarians!

No they're not... they just beat the Quarians and then stopped pursuing them. Even then, it was a war of survival on their part.

All Cerberus is doing is bettering human-kind. Why is that so hard to trust?

For a person who is paranoid you are hilariously also naive.

They're synthetic, so I choose not to trust them. Its the same reason I don't trust husks or the reapers.

I don't trust any big government... the shepard in the ME universe has the same issues... the alliance failed him... the council failed him... cerberus fails him... the *individuals* he meets along the way are the only ones who hold true. I trust them, not the race or organization they are purported to represent. But I digress... my mistrust could come from the fact that I work for 'da man' IRL and don't trust them either. :P
