I disagree, Legion and Tali will play a huge role in ME3. In ME1 Tali wanted to find a Geth that was Separate (ie not a heretic of Saren); enter Legion, a single platform sent to find Shepard and become allies against the reapers because he "killed their god." I kill the heretics, they are only 5% of the Geth, so I'm not sure how that part will play out until we actually get to play ME3. Legion is full of information (takes 7 visits between missions) and a great squadmate. Make sure that you take Legion to recruit Tali AND to her trial.I_am_a_Spoon wrote...
I don't think the actual presence of Legion will make much of a different in ME3... but the fate of the Geth "Heretics" will.
Bottom line: If you hand him over to Cerberus, you don't get to unify the Geth.
Was I the only one who gave Legion back to Cerberus?

Or maybe he is simply less paranoid and cynical, and is capable of recognizing that extremely novel situations (such as a Geth who both speaks and helps humans) could possibly be a valuable asset full of new information and understanding.Big Blue Car wrote...
Yeah but if you activate a Geth on your ship then your Shepard is a doe-eyed, naive man-child and nothing will ever change that.
Sure, it takes some risk-taking to take advantage of those opportunities, but some people are smart enough leaders to make good judgments about which risks wil be fruitful and which will be too dangerous. Take the overly cautious tact if you wish, but don't go on about how it is the wisest way to proceed; those who risk nothing, gain nothing.

Yet those same people bash cerberus for taking risks that ended up going wrong. Personally I took the risk of giving Legion to cerberus in the hope of a payoff to control all those little toasters.

Bad call, regardless your opinion on Cerberus. Legion is an invaluable squaddie, IMO.

Not to mention that Legion could have HUGE bearing on the Geth in ME3. You eliminate Heritic Geth as a problem during his loyalty mission and he could be the deciding factor in whether or not the geth join you against the reapers in ME3.

I gave him back once, just to say that I did. I want to play this game with all possible scenarios.

You get around 50k credits and 20 renegade points as far as I can recal (been awhile since I picked that option)pokeboy wrote...
