i heard people say they can never use their par/ren on the jack/moranda fight. so heres something that might help. im on my second play through and my paragon is probably less than half, but i was able to choose my paragon during the fight. heres what i did. i did morandas quest first along with everyone else(minus tali, thane and legion because i have not recuited them yet) and then did jacks quest aand afterwards the fight happen and i was able to calm them down. i also own the collectors eddition, but im sure that has nothing do with this.
hope this helps!Posted Image

So you did Miranda's quest then Jack's immediately after? Because that's seems to work.

It's not the order you do them in, it's how early in the game. The earlier you do it the easier it is. If you save one of their loyalty missions for the very end, I believe the check may actually become impossible (I have seen posts from players with maxed Paragon/Renegade who were unable to resolve the argument).

I'll try it, but I found out something even better! You don't even need Jack to be loyal for everyone to live!

I couldn't get Miranda to talk to me on my first playthrough and she died, but this time I sided with her and still couldn't get Jack to talk to me, but no one died...kinda weird, but whatevs...

its gotta be a glitch though because my Paragon was MAXED and I couldn't convince Jack to stop being a ****...

still, I try this next time. thanx!

I think its random, I've done Jack's loyalty mission the very last on a later play through, I was 100% Paragon, and was able to take the option.

If you're 100% Paragon then you would expect to be able to pass any Charm check.

I have read posts asserting that the option wasn't available despite having 100%, but that could be a bug.
