I decided without using any kind of metaknowledge. I killed her because I can rather live knowing I murdered a single being, than releasing a creature that could destroy half the galaxy, as each death caused by her I would be as guilty. Dealing with a known threat is better than dealing with an unknown risk (at least imo).

I believe they will be very powerful allies in ME3.

Those Rachni were taken from Noveria by Cerberus before Shepard ever got there - then they got loose and started to spread themselves around.Zaxares wrote...
Just releasing it into the wilds of Noveria was a REALLY dumb move on Shepard's part though. I'd have preferred to take the whole tank with the Queen in it, and relocate it to some uninhabited, uninteresting world, where there wouldn't be a risk of uncontrolled Rachni stowing away on other ships.
Releasing the Queen had nothing to do with them.

You mean like you did with Miranda and Jack or Tali and Legion?GamerT123 wrote...
I had the Rachni Queen to live as well as Wrex I'm more worried as to how this'll playout since the korgan and rachni don't get along, in fact bitter enemies. What if I loss one of their loyalty or both of their loyalty?
C'mon, you're a Paragon! (You ARE a Paragon, AREN'T you?

True, but I would relocate the Queen for as much her own safety as that of the galactic community. Binary Helix was tempted once to try and control the Rachni for their own purposes. There's dozens of other amoral corporations on Noveria, a planet where galactic law does not hold sway, and I wouldn't put it past them to attempt to try to capture the Queen or some of her offspring once news about the Queen's existence gets out.

I wouldn't be so concerned. This rachni queen seems to be free from the taint of old, and seems to have learned from those mistakes. Most corperations wouldn't have the resources to attempt to control a unified rachni population, and it's always good to have a potential ally on the side, seeing that the council is mostly concerned with inaction and self-preservation.

It doesn't work that way with Wrex, he'll tell you you are making a mistake before saving the Queen and then afterwords he complains that it'll be the Krogan who'll have to save everyone but it won't change any loyalty as it does with Jack/Miranda or Legion/Tali.

I never got the impression that the Wrex had anything against the Rachni, just acknowledging what his people sacrificed to put them down the first time and they're considerable less capable now.
Which is part of why I don't release the Queen. If the Rachni decide to make trouble whether years, decades, or centuries from now, we don't have the Krogan who were necessary not just for their high fertility and repopulation rates but because of their ability to survive the toxic environment of the Rachni worlds that held the Queens and hit them where they live. So unless the Council decides to work on curing the genophage ASAP, you know right after hell freezes over and pigs fly, if the Rachni decide to make trouble we are 7 different kinds of screwed.

I like letting her live. I find them to be a very interesting race; a refreshing change from the usual humanoid races (excluding hanar).
Same. Also actually talking to the rachni queen and the whole messiness of genocide made me spare her. Couldn't kill her just for what her ancestors did, anyway. Though, at the time I was afraid that Wrex would leave or something afterwards lol.
