Everytime I attempt to play the game I get a message 'Error initializing PhysX.  Please visit http://www.nvidia.com/phyxs for updated drivers.'  Yet, I have the most recent beta version: 8.17.11.9539.  Can someone help with this issue?

even tried the below file from dvd to no avail.

D:\\software\\PhysX_9.09.0408_SystemSoftware.exe



un install/re install of the game or drivers doesn't fix the problem

i tried uninstall/re install and that didnt work either.

i figured this one out. For reason the Nvidia PhysX would not install. It kept giving me the error 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.' Even though I am the Administrator. So eventually, I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded the Physx from there.

Install the PhysX_9.09.0203 version and it should correct the problem. It did for me.

I had the same problem as you two, but using this file fixed it for me. Weird.

I have 9.12.0209 of Physx and i have xp and no one can help me
