Has anyone else been totally consumed by this game??

So far, since I got this game, I have taken 3 days off work just to play this.    I work full time and have a 3 hour commute and the first thing I do when I get home is turn on the computer.    I've also let "things" go such as we are living out of a clothes basket because I don't want to take the time away from the game to fold them.  I make stuff in crockpots so I don't have to cook!  All I do is think about strategy when I'm not sitting right in front of my PC.  I'm on my fourth playthrough and already planning my next game.

Counting down the days for the expansion :o

Please tell me at least some of you are having the same experience.........

Yup, me too.

We better be careful though, coz those people who think computer games are bad for us will read this and then have an excuse to take them away - NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Crockpot meals are tasty.

I'm not that deep into it, but I'm going to be starting my 6th playthrough.

I played DAO two times, it was enough for me, but I must say I couldn't stop playing it for several hours a day until its end... and I'm looking forward to the expansion!

I go to college but dont work so I've had a lot of time on my hands. All I did for the past couple of months was go to college and play DAO! Been through it 5 times but I have a PS3 so there's no new content. I've since moved on to Star Ocean and then Heavy Rain comes out next week so DA is going to be on the sidelines for awhile. At least until the expansion comes out.

I have promised myself I'll stop after the 3rd playthrough. I've done mage first (AW/BM), rogue (dw cunning - current) and then 2h warrior. I'd like to do all the origin stories as well. Then wait for the expansion.

Yup, been playing it too much. I had to get rid of Double Haste because it's giving me a massive headache following my toons around. Buh-bye, Morrigan.

Hello, my name is Danielle and I'm a DAcoholic.....
It's been 15 hours since I've played DA, and I'm already feeling withdrawals. I own the game on both PC and PS3, but since my PC is not the gaming variety (not yet anyway) I'm stuck with the PS3 version. At first I just thought "oh a couple plays, I'll platinum and be done".......I'm on my 2nd play and I already have my other 6 characters lined up and created for later (Few I've even played up until Lothering) I now have a contract with my husband on our 'shared custody' of the PS3 that I can play after I get off work till he comes home (giving me about 4-5 hours) and then about 5-6 hours on the weekends. :P I'm getting worried about Awakenings cause I'm going to be on vacation and I won't be near my PS3 for 3 WEEKS! :crying: Oh it's going to be brutal....................I'm gonna go play now:O

Yes, I go to sleep planning spells and equipment for characters. Dreams involve situations where I act through dialogue choices and activated abilities (I'm not kidding). Laundry needs washing, dishes need cleaning, but there are mods to download and enemies to destroy!

I think I have you all beat.I'm sitting here looking at a pile of Christmas gifts that I haven't put away yet."I'll just play for a little while and then I'll put them away" and 5 hours later it's "Oh crap I have to go to bed.I'll put them away tomorrow." Next day, repeat.

I thought I was into it but not after reading many of the posts here.  I'm a one trick pony in terms of the character and class I play, and the choices I make very just a little with each playthrough.  Some of the people I'm reading here seem to have exhausted every possible avenue of choice.  I was that into Dark Age of Camelot from release through five years, and I don't think I could expend that kind of energy on a game again.

Wake up, play Dragon Age, go to college, play Dragon Age, sleep.. repeat!

Hot pockets and Ramen noodles have been the food of choice :)

I still have that essay to write...
