So far the game runs quite nicely, there appears to be a bit of a memory leak going on with the "pop-up" screens for looting and such (as they get slower and slower after an hour or so). But other than that, it works just fine, FPS feels decent enough.
My Memory Band ring appears to have lost it stats, no other bugs as of yet, so great job.
With your continued support this game will remain awesome for quite a while yet.

And the store clerks dont have a clue of when..... Wasnt supposed that the idea of joining EA will be to have better and faster distributions of Bioware games? Or do I have to wait months for it , weeks???? I snatched a Digital copy from Steam tho , but my computer cant handle the game l , kinda knew that , so I preordered a Xbox 360 version just in case expecting to at least have it by this weekend , but nada , no game no play and all is left is an irritated let down fan who wanted to play a cool game since last Tuesday Nov 3.
Now I have purchased 2 versions of it (thats how I much like you guys) , but I what I get in return???? Long hours of waiting , no answers , and the disturbing thought that the same will happen when Mass Effect 2 goes out. Dont you know that many fans dont live in the US/Canada , and as fans we want the same treatment from you as you give to the US/Canada fans, is that much to ask? Sorry to bother you with this but where else can I say (type) it??? Good day

Thank you for a most detailed explanation of the issues as well as the solutions and future activities. Quite often such things are 'softened' or hidden under a wall of hype (even if well deserved) and I find direct honest communication like this a very good tool for repairing and strengthening the trust between you and the wider community. Appreciate the time and effort spent so far and ask the rest of our gaming community try to temper frustration with patience. Have faith that its in the developers best interests to build long term goodwill with us by addressing the issues with a balance of speed and quality. Its better to take the time to resolve things properly than do a quick fix and potentially make things worse. We should all try to act as partners and not enemies when things aren't going as smoothly for some of us as we want. In the long run it works out much better for all involved.
Yes, I wholehardtedly agree. Having such a wonderful frank explanation of the situation is very refreshing and I have yet to see a game developer being so honest and open about the problems at launch. This is expected as the technology is rather new and never yet experienced before like this.
I am thinking TOR MMO will be much smoother having learned all these valuable lessons of a stand-alone game.

But instead, I get a great game with all the features that runs perfectly and will ACTUALLY allow me to play the same content as everyone else at the same time as everyone else (Assuming I pay for it, at any rate).
So thank you for not screwing me over Bioware. It means a lot. Whenever I get a 360 or worthwhile PC, I'll be sure to find both Mass Effects (Assuming you haven't decided to go ahead and make a PS3 version by then, which I assure you I and many others would buy.)
Oh, and even if you DON'T end up coming through on the "Mods for consoles" thing, thank you for at least TRYING. If you DO come through on it, well then you're just my goddamn heroes. Maker be ****in' praised, Ancestors revered, and Old Gods given a firm handshake.

I have spent 6-8 hours verifying all latest drivers & updates, re-installing, changing settings etc. Running Geforce 8800 GTX & 64 bit Vista... FREEZING UP EVERY 10 MINUTES. Support is EXTREMELY POOR / non existant! Looks like a decent game.... but I will not sugar coat the launch. PLEASE ... make the game work before allocating resources to DLC and such nice to have crap.

A couple things though:
The memory band does not seem to have any stats on it for some reason.
The looting screens are cumbersome and kind of annoying how looting is done.
Everything else is running smooth like cream, DAO is yummy!
