And few ideas from my point of view:
1. Next time don't be afraid to use more details for main characters - few more polygons wont make a big difference in system requirements but will make very big difference in gameplay.
2. Better emotions - make your animators work harder on facial expressions - I know it is a damn hard work but it is worth it when you want to drag player into that world.
3. I know that your main quest men and women did not want to make it as a fairytale but the ending for me was quite sad because I made my own quest playing this game - to get Morrigan as my girl, but at the end I made everyone happy except myself. I ofcorse understand the storyline but you should have made at least a very very slim possibility - that would make the ending more happy otherwise mine was quite grim - as in the credits there was said: "this story ended with the archdeamon slain" or something like that - and that was really the end... end of everything...

What part of "no spoilers" do you not understand?

I would like to say that I am impressed by DAO in a few ways! The game have not crashed a single time on me and I did not have any technical problems or bugs that I am aware of. I play games on computers for around 30 years and I dont recall the last time a game came out being so good in stability and compatibility with my system. This feels so good again to play a game for extended period of time without interruption, which of course always breaks your dreamworld and immersion in the process.
Performance wise it is also very nice since my system can run this game with everything all maxed out. There is just a little thing that annoys me so far but it is just a detail and because I am such a **** of details like sexyness but I think it adds to a game that is rated mature and as human being it is things that we need anyway. The female characters should be a bit more sexy looking. It may sound bad to say that but with the body they have I prefer seeing them dressed than in underwear. But I always have fate that maybe someone in the community will change that.
Anyway, a very big thanks to all the DAO team and bravo for an excellent game!

Thank you for a most detailed explanation of the issues as well as the solutions and future activities. Quite often such things are 'softened' or hidden under a wall of hype (even if well deserved) and I find direct honest communication like this a very good tool for repairing and strengthening the trust between you and the wider community. Appreciate the time and effort spent so far and ask the rest of our gaming community try to temper frustration with patience. Have faith that its in the developers best interests to build long term goodwill with us by addressing the issues with a balance of speed and quality. Its better to take the time to resolve things properly than do a quick fix and potentially make things worse. We should all try to act as partners and not enemies when things aren't going as smoothly for some of us as we want. In the long run it works out much better for all involved.
I was going to post something similar, but couldn't put it better, so I let Dracaiden do the work!

I <3 Dragon Age.
Loving the game looking forward to experiencing all the future content as well. Great job, and thank you for adding the awesome dark wicked humor of Morrigan! I don't want to play with all these up tight goody goodies.

There is only one fault I've found with Dragon Age Origins. It desperately needs a UI scale. Like in WoW. This is because the text and icons are far too small when trying to play 1600x1200 resolution. The game needs a proper UI scale (not one that goes out of focus when you rescale it, like LOTRO), the same as in WoW.

I agree with BenXyan, a UI scale would be great for those with larger resolutions.

(Ps. Fix the toggle-menu -thing in the console versions. It is stupid not to be able to give orders to any but one companion at a time.)
