 So, I unlocked the Ranger and Duelist specializations with my main character, but now they won't show up in my account(my Rogue still lists them as locked).  Do I have to wait for the server to update before I gain access?
I learned Duelist from a rogue in the Pearl in Denerim and  I bought the Ranger book.
Anyone else have this happen to them and if so any solutions?

Do you mean you unlocked them with one character and they aren't available to that same character? If that's the case do you have sufficient level to use them?

If I'm understanding you correctly... you unlock a specialization for the characters of the current game only, not the account, when you create a new character you must unlock the specializations again.

No, When you unlock them they are unlocked for all characters you create. I tested this by creating a mage and the Shapeshifter and Spirit Healer Specs are already unlocked since I did that with my first character.



Dateranoth - no I'm trying to use them with a new character. When you unlock them with one character, it is unlocked permanently on your account - meaning all characters.

Ah, I didn't realize that it worked that way. I haven't unlocked any of them yet so I wouldn't know. Haven't found the ones I need with my character. I would think that the information would be stored locally on the PC though. Since the game is playable without an internet connection.

its so you can't unlock a spec and then reload a save just before you unlocked it and still get credit (some of the unlocks are a choice that effect the story/progression of the game
