The profile thing is fluky...I can access my online profile just fine "in game" and it properly shows both my characters on the website. BUT, if I try to get through it outside the game via the "My Games - Dragon Ages" tab to the left, it shows an old update of my character from months ago????
ANyone else have this issue? How do I resolve?

You have multiple persona's. You can see this on the Profile page by clicking on Click here to view this user's other player profiles. The game is linked to one, but the site is defaulting to the other. As of now I don't believe there's any fix for this but keep an eye on the Site Help Forum
