Heya All,
I have not played DA for a few weeks (while I completed ME2), I am returning and trying to download the Return to Ostegar DLC. I have the available points, but in the download tab, in game, RTO is hanging at 0 percent and will not install.
Any pointers??

if you tried to do it recently the problem is
On February 16 2010 from 2am PST until 6am PST the BioWare social website will be offline for routine scheduled maintenance. The web team will be working hard to bring the site back on line as soon as possible.
During this period of scheduled maintenance the following services will be unavailable -
* Logging in
* Account sign up
* Purchasing Points
* Purchasing DLC
* Downloading DLC
* Redeeming DLC and/or promo codes
* Registering PC CD-Keys
Thank you for your patience as we perform this maintenance. /images/forum/emoticons/smile.png
so these lazy bums at ea will get log on back up sooner rather than later i hope

A little more Info:
I am running version 1.02a of the game. If I look at the detail of the RTO download tab (whee its hanging at 0 percent) it shows requied game version as 1.02 highlighted in red (ie.. 1.02 is not installed). Any ideas??
I have all the other DLC installed.

* Double-check the game version. On the Game Launcher go Configure, which launches the Configuration Utility and then go to Game and look at the version of DAOrigins.exe. (There were a few patch pages that linked to the wrong patch executable.)
* As long as the Configuration Utility is open, go to Repair and select Clear Download Cache
* Delete My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings\\Manifest.xml
* If your My Documents physical location is on some other drive than C:, move it back to the default location. (Right click on USERNAME\\My Documents, select Properties, then go to the Location tab.)
* If your Windows Region and Language Settings are set to something other than US and English set it those settings temporarily.
If all else fails try manually downloading and installing it. Links and instructions are in section 4 of the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ. Even if it doesn't work sometimes the error messages can be useful in figuring out what the underlying problem is.

Problem if you can't download it is the server maintenance...I can't add points to my account to buy it as it states "Dragon Age is currently offline"

Thanks for the info - wouldn't it be nice if EA would place a message on the login screen, when they are doing maintenance, so ppl wont spend an entire afternoon troubleshooting...

For what it is worth, I played through this add on and found it entertaining, if not underwhelming. Was it worth my $5? Well, it gave me about an hour's worth of continued entertainment within DAO and I think that was worth it. Overall, though, it just made me look forward to the expansion in hopes that there will be more substantial experience.

Any clues on how I can download Return to Ostegar? I have the points and they show in the available content screen however no content is displayed. EA support has been trying to help for the last 10 days but they have no clue what I'm talking about.
