Let's assume, that there's a person out there, who hasn't woken up Legion or Grunt, and thus when the Normandy's crew gets kidnapped, they are still on the Normandy.

Wouldn't it have been a nice choice to wake up Legion and/or Grunt and have them fight off the Collectors or at least protect Joker?  Heck, as soon as EDI is unbound by Joker in the AI core, couldn't EDI herself have woken them up?

Just a small observation.

Grunt recruitment dependant on force. Agression. Legion recruitment dependant on Shepard.

Success of Joker unlikely.

Yeah - let's wake up two unknown, possibly hostile aliens, just when the sh*t is about to hit the fan ... I don't see ANYTHING going wrong there.....

Agreed - especially given Joker is less trusting than my Shep.

Surely Joker could melt their aggressive and non-existing hearts with his witty and sarcastic jokes, and if that does not work the talk about leather seats would surely persuade them to find the Collectors!
