Anyone know if there is a tutorial on the wiki somewhere, or elsewhere that shows you how to create textures in photoshop to be used in the toolset? Like if I wanted to reskin one of the wood floors into a metal floor? Also anything online about importing models from maya or 3dsmax to the toolset?

If you want to switch textures (like changing a wood floor to a metal one), you should probably edit the material/mao file, which lists the names of the diffuse/normal/specular/other texture files for the model.(or just wait for a retexturing tool to be released)

I've started on an FBX importer/exporter (see my social site projects) but its in its infancy. I got in the beta less than 2 weeks ago so haven't had time to make much progress. As Adinos says, the MAO files in the MaterialObjects.erf will be most important for texture related modifications.

Thanks, sounds like I'll need to wait awhile. In the meantime I'll try messing around with those materials. http://social.biowar...Material_editor is kind of a work around for now I guess.
