Hi,
I have Avira AntiVir premium and it detects this trojan
TR/Crypt.ZPACK.Gen2 in the patch file I downloaded from this site. I also see that someone else running Avira has posted about this at bleepingcomputer:
http://www.bleepingc...topic=269221=
I know things are really, really busy with the release so didn't want to post but I tried to search for this topic and can't get the forum search to work properly. If anyone could point out how to search that will prevent me from posting needlessly and I can remain the troll that I prefer to be.
Cheers,
ransom

I really try to avoid bumping a topic but it has been a bit and because I can't get forum search to work properly can't find any specific related threads. I am aware of a few others reporting Avira detecting a trojan in the official patch, including one of the patch threads in this forum.
And I have to wonder if some of the issues people are having after patching are related to this? I have decided to not install the patch at this time but would welcome any comments if anyone knows this is a false positive? I will be checking other forums again.
And is it just me being dense or does forum search not work? I really prefer to search before posting!
Thanks,
ransom

My computer has been acting totally funky since I downloaded that patch. 3-4 minutes to start computer; hard drive constantly grinding, yet Nortons says "all clear". I just down get why this topic, and the "game won't launch after patch" topic get scolled down so fast.
