eh, shes light, agile and not bogged down with armor...besides, i bet those heals hurt if you stab someone with em! oh and why would you need armor when your biotic fields can do the job better and have no don't contrain you?

I've been meaning to ask this. Does anyone else look at the close ups of the red pattern on her outfit and think "strawberries"? Every time I see it I can't help but think about it. It's almost like they scanned and bumpmapped a strawberry texture, it's uncanny.

Ugh. Thanks a lot, Saboten.

I think there's some kind of manga-ish attitude running in BW stating that mature women grow impossibly large cleavages. Besides that, the outfit wasn't that outrageous.

The only thing I don't like about Samara's outfit is the red colour on her default one, her loyalty outfit is great, despite the blatant cleavage. (Oh Samara, why such a ****** monster?)

But being usually all on her own she needs to move fast and everyone knows red goes faster... Image IPB

I could care less what Samara, Miranda, Jack and so on wear on the ship, BUT on the field put some fraking armor on!!

That was disapointing and I loved this in ME1. Hope they bring this back in ME3 it's just realistic to me and no amount of trying to explain or justify the fact that only Shepard wears actual armor is going to cut it.

I find the whole "everyone fights in their casual clothing" thing a bit silly.

I am sure it's easier on the designers but really I'd prefer it if your crew fought in hardsuits. Extra style points if your whole team spraypaints their stuff the same colour-way as Sheps.

Strawberry Shortcake became pretty badass at 600.

She's obviously been blessed with 'ample bosoms,' why not strut her stuff a little?

I get it with Samara and Jack - they're extremely powerful biotics, so they can probably erect a kinetic barrier that protects their body even in extreme condition. Same with Miranda and the other lesser biotics, although to a lesser extent. I really do think Miranda and Jacob should, at the least very least, suit up or wear a helmet. Hard to imagine Cerberus would just leave them walking around like that.

What still puzzles me are the amount of armor Zaeed and Grunt wears - seriously, how can you leave parts of your body exposed like that, when you don't even have the slightest of biotic ability to protect you?

Bioware has so far refused to give us the helmet toggle option, presumably for the sake of realism. But there's nothing real when it comes to squad mate designs.

Seriously Bioware - I love you guys. But what is with this cleavage? High heels? The woman is supposedly a warrior monk past her 'maiden days' and yet she galavants in a stripper's latex suit.

Anyone else think Samara should be wearing a robe or at least some actual armor?  Just kind of bothered me whenever I saw her in it.

Yes because "monk" is an expression widely used outside earth and every race has them wearing robes right? -.-
WTH do you know? For an asari that could be a "warrior monk" outfit. Benezia had som cleavage going on too. Maybe its a matriarch thing??

Two words:

Fantasy world.

(How could anyone complain about Samara being dressed like that? I am a woman and even I think she is sexy as hell!)

I think Mass Effect 1 had better clothes for the squad. Armour with a helmet option. You're supposed to be the commander of a spy ship leading a team of ultra-ninja special forces nutters. No part of that requires the female members of the team to be dressed like something out of a Star Trek fan's ****** bank.

There's a lot of people these days saying that video games have come of age, but when half the crew is strutting around in the science fiction equivalent to the chain mail bikini you have to wonder if they mean age thirteen.

I agree with the OP. When it comes to women enemies like Enyala, Jentha, Jedore...etc they all seem to be dressed for the part. But when you see Miranda, Jack, Samarra....etc - none of them dress like they are ready for combat. I only hope Kasumi is different, but I am not holding my breath.

she's not really a monk... she herself compares Justicars to Samurai/Knights, of which both often used ornate and aesthetic designs. i think she looks very regal, which is exactly what the artists were aiming for
