I'll admit I never watched the show, but all I heard the whole time, was that they kept adding more questions without solving any old ones. Do you fear that ME3 will go down the same line?
Will Mass Effect end just as Lost, to many questions, to few answers

LOL a little premature as Lost is in it's final season...plenty of time to wrap up most loose ends, just like ME3 will be able to as well...

Not at all, the great thing about the Mass Effect universe is that everything is intertwined and connected. The only way that I could remotely see this happening is if Bioware never explains who, where, why and what the Reapers are. Other than that, I think most of the questions will (or already have) been answered.

You can't really compare Lost and ME. Lost has literally dozens of loose ends to tie up in the last season. While ME only has a few major questions about the origin and motivation of the Reapers, and now the appearance of Dark Energy. I'm pretty optimistic at this point that Bioware will resolve those issues in ME3.

I do actually think that by the end of ME2 we have too many loose ends to connect them all (in a way that makes sense) within one final game. At the moment I feel reminded at Matrix very much. By the end of Matrix 2 we knew even less than we thought we knew before and Matrix 3 totally failed to bring everything together into a satisfying ending in part 3.
