"And then go ahead and wonder why sales are down."

That's funny, 'cause sales wise, DA and ME2 are BIO's must successful games. DA has shipped 3.2 copies in THREE MONTHS. ME2 has sold 2millio copies in TWO WEEKS.

BG series, NWN, KOTOR and ME1 have all sold 2.5-3mil copies and they've been out for eyars. JE sdold 1.5-2mil copies.

But, yeah, you are trying to spread baloney that 'sales are down'. Give me a break.

Also, I doubt the whining upsets BIO at all. They've been around a block for 10+ years. Internet geeks crying about soemthing they do ALWAYS happens no matter what. Yet, BIO games continue to sell. Nope, they ain't worried at all as 99.9% of the crybabies will be first in line to purchase the expansion. *shrug*

Show me where I said that BioWare's sales are down. Read before posting, trust me, it's good advice. Last I checked, their overall sales were down, and I'm not talking about BioWare titles, but all sales concerning EA titles.

Being silent is a practice of EA. Always has been. Read the post, it's very short. Who did you think I meant by the 'money-people?'

By the way, being a crybaby over other crybabies is a very silly thing to do. People have a right to their opinion, just like you do.

Hmmm...
EA.
Makes me think about the many sales they lost trying to push the absurd copy protection for Spore. That forum was aflame... you would take a break from posting and go to hell to cool down :)
Or the Battleforge fiasco. Ever person in the beta told them that with their buisness plan the game would go down before they'd manage to release it. Now they are giving it away for free. And it's a good game.

It would be nice to have some more information regarding some of the issues that have been raised but I am 100% certain that Awakening will be utterly awesome.

Now that had me laughing out loud, to the dismay of my cat. I've always stayed far, far away from EA titles, as a matter of fact, DA:O is my first. If it wasn't the fact that BioWare developed the game, I would still own zero EA titles.

I have friends who really looked forward to Spore, and that SimCity thing game (societies?), and boy, did they flip their combined lids. What bothered them a lot was that there were no answers, help, or explanations forthcoming.

BioWare is most likely waiting until the first storm blows over (I hope). Personally, I will wait until the price drops, and player reviews are available. Lots of them. By then I should have most, if not all, of the answers.

And no, I'll not buy it first thing out anyways. I'm very good at waiting. I have only one DLC, simply because I waited, read up, watched, researched, and came to the conclusion: Don't want.

I recently completed my first run through, and decided to do the US finish. Soon after, I wondered how the expansion would handle that, or if it would at all. Now, I know I don't have all the details on the subject...but from what I can tell everyone is disturbed, to say the least, of how they are basically dumbing down that transition into the expansion. My question I suppose...is if you actually did the US, and the storyline is that epic with the option of that "ending," you would think they would have a smooth transition of all possible "endings" into the expansion. I don't know, seems like if you saved the world once...including priests, mages, templars...not to mention FOUND the ashes...there should be some type of conglomerative resurrection process to tie in. Desparate times call for desparate measures? Just a thought, and probably been said before. Might be far fetched, but it seems better than "Poof, you're breathing."
