And that matters how? Can you just stop being a jack [donkey] and talk about the topic like a grown up? Do you need a time out before you're willing to do that?Garuda One wrote...
Actually this one was first then it was set back a few pages and then someone created a new one. Check the time stamps of post created.
I don't know, you seem to keep feeding me by continuing to acknowledge my existence. If YOU were mature then you would have simply ignored me, pages ago. Hell days ago. Yet to insist on continuing the bickering and I continue to bother you. You see, if you were to do the mature thing and ignore my post and not feed me then we wouldn't be here, right now. So the correct thing to do is to not respond to this post like a mature adult and ignore it.
If the above post can't get threw your thick, japanese filled brain, how about a picture?

Can you just stop this garbage and talk about the topic like an adult? Seriously? You're like a giant pile of bad stereotypes and unfunny insults. Stop. Just talk about the topic you started. And if the only reason you started this topic was post crap like this, well, that's against the rules. Precisely so that topics like this don't happen. I'll have to report you over and over and over until the mods do someting about it just to shut me up.

Having a large world mostly based on randomized algorithms, filling it with empty soulless characters with spare dialogue and filling it with MMO-type quests.
I'd rather count developers like Obsidian, Piranha Bytes, the now dead Troika and maybe up and coming "CD Projekt" and "Radon Labs".

Honestly? Yes.
You see, Garuda is what you would call a "troll". Those insults he keeps throwing around? Those are hooks meant to catch into the hearts and minds of people who don't know better and drag them into an endless spiral of nonsense. He feeds on your anger. It makes him who he is. It completes him. By continuing to converse with him you are "feeding the troll" and thus acknowledging his existence.
What you should have done was dismissed him as a sad little man with daddy issues and then moved on.

Listen to this man, he speaks the truth but that won't stop you now will it? But come on now I'm not a sad little man with daddy issues -cries in a corner- I just find it amusing to past the time.

and not have to resort to pointing out character flaws in other people to prove a point.
Not that we don't do that, because it is fun after all, it's just that we don't have to justify our existance through it.

And then the protagonist stopped running around and stabbing things in FMV style, settled down, and started the usual turn-based combat routine, with everyone politely waiting to select attacks from a menu.
I would rather replay Mass Effect and Fallout games a thousand more times than bother with turn-based combat, no matter how cool the rest of the game looks.

Honestly, this is why you'll never have children. You have no patience, which is not conducive to raising kids.
Also, the alternative to screwing you is screwing me, and I'm not a very bad looking guy.

Final Fantasy XIII Sells for the american equivilent of $20 contrast to the original that was almost $100, Sales dropping ALOT
Troubled blockbuster corridor marathon Final Fantasy XIII is now the subject of humiliating ¥1,980 sales, whilst its sales figures have dropped to record lows. Presumably the store in question found itself completely unable to shift its stock.
Second-hand, as reported the game is now being bought by stores for ¥1,500-2,500, although some stores are apparently no longer willing to buy. Second-hand stores are routinely offering the game for as little as ¥3,500
More ominously, the sales figures for Final Fantasy XIII, whilst initially healthy enough, have plummeted to levels far lower than previous titles in the series.
as you see this game is FAIL. the only JRPG's that I ever liked was Tales of Symphonia, Chrono Trigger, and FF 7. every time i see someone excited for this game i cry for them, they are going to be horribly disappointed.
You can't say its a fail until FF 13 comes out in the West and then we can see what happens when the sales from the West come in.
I mean you could easily say that Mass Effect 2 was knocked out of the top one spot in stores after about a week and half to 2 weeks by Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno. In Amazon the top ten games line up looks like Mass Effect has been thrown down to number 6 on the best sellers list with Bioshock, Alien vs Predator, Forza 3 and Modern Warfare all in the upper slots in the UK site. In the US site Mass Effect 2 is in the 3rd spot now. Also in some UK game stores its like down at 7 or 8 spot on the best sellers list so that isn't good either.
Final Fantasy Fans are many and when it comes out in the west in a few weeks then we will be able to see the kind of sales that it will have then.

Dude. Check the join date of my Bioware account- not the social.
I was fourteen. At fourteen, I also attempted suicide due to an assault, tried to run away to Philadelphia (for two whole days) in the middle of winter without shoes or a jacket, cried horribly each time I read the book the High King by Lloyd Alexander and yet read it at least once a month, had an American Girl doll I called Emily Laura Ariel Heart, decided I was a vegetarian despite the fact that I hated beans and almost got hospitalised for my incredibly unhealthy diet as I was getting no protein, and pouted constantly about how all my friends had been to Disney World and we were too poor to go (or perhaps too sensible- I believe we had the money, my mother just thought it was a waste). I thought Oasis was the coolest band EVEH and that they were SO much better then N*Sync and Backstreet Boys and whatever else my friends liked back then (5ive? 98*degrees? Was Hanson still around?) despite the fact that they're a crappy ripoff Beatles band fronted by egotistical jerks who give no respect to those who came before them. I think I still wanted to be an Animorph and hated the series for ending.
I also played video games, even though we were finally starting to reach the point where Girls Don't Play Video Games. And, apparently, I liked Bioware enough to sign up on their site. My real life nickname was/is actually a 'boys name'- never met another girl called that- and I decided that adding -chan would make it obvious that I was a girl because I was insecure due to real life people assuming I was a guy after hearing my name until they met me. Then I remembered that You Shouldn't Use Your Real Name On the Internet, o'fourteen old me, and came up with a made-up nickname (...might have been an Everquest character?), that, I suppose, sounds girly enough (gotta love names ending in a). So the -chan wasn't neccessary. Hindsight, twenty-twenty, si?
I think, out of all the stupid and useless things I did at fourteen, calling myself -chan on a message board is pretty low on my list of things I'm ashamed about. I mean, I could have been backing the Ace Combat games. That would be really sad.
Between masturbating over Tali and giggling over, say, the slash between Riou and Jowy in SuikodenII (and I agree: that is one of the amusing draws of some jrpgs), I'll choose the second, thanks. And between Summoner and Final Fantasy IX, I'll choose Final Fantasy IX any day. Ugh, Summoner.
(And yes, Pokemon is a jrpg, goofs. Duh!)
