I keep getting this message when trying to login at the game menu. I'm surfing the internet just fine so I know I'm connected. I can also login to my account at the Social Network page so I'm not sure why I cant login at the game menu. After installing the game I created my social network account and redeemed The Stone Prisoner sucessfully. I loaded the game up but cant download the content because it says im not connected to internet. Disabling firewall and antivirus didnt work, also rebooted my router. Running XP. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, this has been a problem for me and a bunch of other people. Aside from DA:O using some unorthodox method of connect to the EA servers, the only thing that I can think that's causing problems is crap from my ISP, but we all know how freakin' wonderful Comcast/Time Warner/Cox is...

I wish I know what the issue is. Hopefully a fix is coming soon. I am using wireless router connected to the internet, hopefully that is not the cause of the problem.
Additional note: I can't connect to the server even with the character creator. I assumed it was a glitch with the creator and didn't think of it much at the time. Guess I was wrong.

Well I changed from a wireless hookup to hardline connection and that allowed me to login and download content in-game. Seems like its a wireless issue aye?

Not a wireless issue. Im wired. Unable to connect to DA servers.

Same problem here.
I doubt this is a wired-versus-wireless issue. I even bypassed my router and plugged directly into my modem, and still couldn't login.

Yup. I checked and I can't connect even with a direct connection to my DSL modem.
It's surprising to see this kind of problem. I thought it is easy enough to design the login to authenticate upon clicking "log in" instead of graying it out first. Wonder why they did it the hard way.

Presumably, the DA servers are getting slammed now that more people have received their copies and it's the weekend. Still, it's a little frustrating being denied all access to the game simply because it can't verify my DLC (and apparently can't remember that it just verified the very same DLC a few hours ago...and yesterday...and the day before).
It would be nice if the DRM model included a little slack for the vagaries of Internet connectivity and server downtime. Perhaps something along the lines of "deny access if DLC isn't verified within 48 hours" rather than "verify DLC every single time the game is launched". I imagine server load is going to be a problem for a week or so.

I was able to connect fine over my wireless network a minute ago.
