My optimal run is losing Jack and Jacob. I'm trying to get a "Garrus only" run.

Not really. Just don't wake up Grunt or Legion, avoid Loyalty quests, give everyone the wrong jobs and make sure your best frontline fighters arn't holding the line.

And im not talking about the hardest ending to get, i'm talking about killing characters you dont like and grooming your character for ME3 Canon wise.

Ive got a save where everyone survives and thats fine and dandy, but i think more realistically people should die on a suicide mission.

No one left behind. It's the only way to go. You can always stick Jack, Jacob and any other character you hate into the shuttle and space 'em after the mission is complete
