Here is what I have so far. I did the bypass on the first system between the stairs. I used the switch and turned on the cooling unit. But the generator is still offline. I can't see anything else to do. What am I missing? Thanks.

OK I know I'm just missing something clearly easy here, but just can't figure this missing out.

Are you talking about the mission where your on a orbiting platform?
Unlock the one in the center, the line of energy needs to be pointed towards the one you want to turn on. Click on the center console to change the direction of the energy.

Go back and hit the switch on the center console. You'll see lights on the power cables telling you which system its sending power to. You have to switch on the cooling unit, the genny then the shield and hit the center console switch between each.
