This is beyond a joke now...
This is my 3rd playthrough now, and 3rd time trying!!!

• I used all the correct chat-up lines. Expel 10, Hallex, Dangerous places, Forta art, Vaenya vid. Bla Bla Bla
• I have 4 out of 5 possible bars of renegade now, 100% renegade perk aswell as the creepy mask.
• I recruited Samara asap, attempted her loyalty mission first, then attempted this quest after every single quest afterwards. Only to keep failing.

And now she is my last squad member to be made loyal I'm all outa options...

I've a horrible feeling the only way that works is by going Paragon. Which is just either stupid or a bug as choosing her is clearly a renegade option...

You don't get the choice and Samara automatically Pn'owns Morinth

If it is, it seems the persuasion options get harder.

1st time I tried I had pretty much the same amount of Renegade and failed.

The 2nd time I imported the ME2 save (as you can see she's lvl 30). Same outcome.

I've also got a 3rd Shepard that is seperate from Playthrough 1 and 2. Same outcome.

Maybe it also has something to do with your level... Is this near the end game?



It works with Paragon just fine, though... Weird...

You have the PC version. Mod your savegame with max renegade points and see if that works.

I had the same problem as you. Yet I was able to recruit her as paragon, when I had substantially less paragon points. It seems a bit ridiculous that renegade persuasion is so much harder in most of the situations I've encountered.

The reason they are both greyed out is because you followed the wrong dialogue. You only have to use ONE of the dialogue options above then change to being either a Paragon douche or a Renegade jerk. You can't allow yourself to get seduced. If you do you lose the option to recruit Morinth

I honestly believe obtaining Morinth by taking the Renegade path is UN-DO-ABLE

and clearly bugged...

I was able to choose the renegade and paragon option on the two playthroughs I've done... I have no idea what your problem would be... It shouldn't matter, but what DLC do you have? and do you have CE or normal?

Well apparently he did this mission as soon as possible and still was unable to resit Morinth.

Correct, I recruited Samara as soon as I could. Then tried after every single loyalty mission. Times that by 3 play throughs...

Normal Edition through Steam. Downloaded some Dr Pepper stuff and got Zaeed, Normandy Crash site and the crappy free armor and shotgun

I'm on the 360 and i could choose both options on my bad-@-- playtrough and on my just whatever playthrough

It's all in the dialogue. You people should really spend more time paying attention and less time crying "FIX MY BUGS".

You did too many missions before Samara's loyalty mission. The more you do, the more renegade you'll need.
