I was playing the other day, and I started a dialogue with Kelly to see whats new, and she was saying something about her talking with Tali. She asked me what i thought of her, and i said she was a good friend. She then said she gets the feeling she likes Shepard and wants to be more than friends. I was wondering if anyone else got this. And if she does this about any other crew members who like Shepard. Miranda or Jack. Anyone?

She says Thane is sexy and asks if the Commander thinks so too...



which was kinda fun...doesn't say anything about him liking me though...

She has something to say about each party member. And Kaidan/Ashley too.
Basically the lines stack up each time you recruit one of them. Like she wants to hold Garrus and tell him everything will be alright... Or if you cared for Ashley a lot... and that Mordin is like a hamster on coffee.

Kelly is there to helpfully let you know who the potential Love Interests are. One of her many functions.

I got the dialogue for Ashley, yes. But only Tali after that. Nothing from Jack besides her tattoos looking beautiful to her and her temper. Does she say anything if Miranda likes Shepard?

I see Kelly as the Normandy's version of Microsoft's Clippy; somebody thought it would be a good idea to include her in your package so that she can tell you everything you probably already know.

I don't think so, she normally says something when the member is recruited.

After my femShep brings back Garrus she says something about wanting to give him a hug. I agreed and she replied that we'd (Garrus and femShep) would make a cute couple.

The fact that she seems to hit on every breathing creature on the Normandy is kind of a turn off for me. Might just be me though. I bet if she could she'd try to 'comfort' Shepard's fish. 

That said... if she would actually have been a fully fledged romance option she might have been interesting... right now I just see her as a useless addition to the ship.  I mean... can't I have EDI tell me I got a message? Or hell, not have anyone tell me at all?

The flirting is just therapy and the dancing is her showing you how grateful she is for not being turned into goo. That said, she most likely dumps you for a hannar in the first few minutes of ME3.

For myself, you're right. On my second play through I had my 'Ruthless Shep' go into full 'Drill Instructor" mode with Kelly when 'Ruthless Shep' first met her. I actually felt bad after when Ruthless chewed her out for being too inform. However that just meant the facial animators and voice-actress did their jobs well.

I'm having trouble getting Kelly to meet me in the captains quarters. I know you don't see what happens, but I still want to get her there. How do I do so?
