Hello All and Devs: I like to asked a question about the number of members in your group? Is the limit 3 or can you upgrade your npc slots later in the game. I just thinking of Dungeon Siege where you can have like 5 or 6 members in your group. In DS 2, you would pay a npc for extra slots for your group, I hope this option is in DA:O. For me I like having around 4 or 5 in my group, have 4 or 5 member will be more easy in battle and having a War Dog is one thing I like to have a extra slot for. What do guys/gals think?

You'll have 4 in your group, including the PC. That will be the limit.

Maybe mods can help? Would be pretty cool.

dog was already said to be a full companion, sadly
I think it's hard to choose from 9 companions with just 3 slots, but that adds replayability, so I'm fine with it.

You can have more than 4 people you in party if you cheat, you won't be able to see them on the screen though, the UI is only capable of showing 4, including your PC.

However, there will be non permanent party members that don't count on that limit. You might end up having a group of 4 permanent members (Yourself + 3npcs) and some random Soldier/Militia/Quest guys. I guess the total limit including temporary group members is about 6
Edit: Sure about that one SN? I thought they mentioned something like 6 in one of the gameplay demos

Eeeeh, I believe it was said this would work pretty horribly. Until someone cracks the UI, more than 4 person parties is going to be difficult at best.Servant of Nature wrote...

It'll probably be possible to get more than 4 people in your party at once, either through modding or cheating. Keep in mind that it'd probably ruin the difficulty of the game though.
