I don't even see where someone would have gotten the inkling that Thane goes for the mens, too. He had a wife he obviously loved and misses very much, as well as a son. The man is straight as an arrow.

Ironically he was originally supposed to be the only m/m romance. Or so I heard.
Whereas Tali was supposed to be the f/f romance.
I'm not homophobic or anything... but I prefer it this way. I just don't see either of those characters - definitely not Thane - falling for the same gender.
