Hello.
After realizing that Steam support recruits comes from the morgue, I thought I'd ask here.
My Digital deluxe promo key doesnt work. I bought the game on Steam, and have gotten the Cerberus key to work. I have also registred my game, no problems with either of those codes.
"Unable to redeem code.
Code not recognized, please check that you have entered it correctly."
I have checked numerous times, and I'm 101% sure I typed it in correctly. Either my key is simply invalid, or there's something I've done terribly wrong.
The chimpanzee from Steam support eventually redirected me to EA support (even though their guidelines state that CD key issues is their problem...huh)....but anyways, I thought I'd ask here, if there's any stupid mistake I've made, before I decide whether or not to take the complaint to EA support.
Please help.

I also have the same problem. My digital deluxe promo key is invalid. Cerberus network key is fine.

Son of a.. I have the same issue. No one cares, I'd wager. EA's screwed the Steam version of Mass Effect.. again.

Same issue here as well, registered cereberus in game, registered game key on bioware site, but promo key gives the same error as everyone else.

I just got the special edition in the mail from game stop. I am currently having the same issue with the special edition promotion and the cerberus network key. I do not find this amusing at all.

Mnh we are starting to see a patern here? I too have the Digital Deluxe Edition and the EXACT same problem as you guys... Game Key and Cerberus Network Key worked fine but the Promo Key just doesn't want to redeem itself... I already contacted both EA Support and Steam Support and haven't got a single reply... I think us, the Digital Deluxe Edition owners should too have this "problem" fixed...

well I just got response from EA Support - they send me new one, but I only got CE Weapon and Armor BUT NO Incisor Rifle from redeeming it

Do you have the Collector's Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition?

I got the DDE from Direct2Drive and had the same issue. Code not recognized. I haven't mailed EA yet.

Well, since you managed to meet with some success, do you mind sharing what category you filed your question under? It may not matter, but I'd rather not have my question stagnate in limbo because I chose "Technical" instead of, say, "My Account/Billing".

I put it into "Registration > Product Activation" but it was changed by somebody to "How to register"

Says on the form you'll recieve a response within 24 hours. ~sigh~ I don't care much for tech support numbers but they sure as hell beat this.

Keelut try it again today, I couldn't redeem my code for like 6 days after activating the game here and today I tried again and it worked!
