That sucks, because it's really REALLY funny.

Actually I take it back I find it funny to see headless chicken Weeaboos running around trying to protect Japan and there RPG's.

They were hits. Just because they don't fit your personal criteria for a good game does not mean they didn't do well.

And if the mod here won't do something about you name calling, I'll take PMs to one that will.

If you really don't want the Star Oceans in there (I wasn't supper fond of them either) there's always Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Fire Emblem 1-5, Xexnosaga 1-3, Xenogears, Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid 1-4.

What is this madness?   Please stop being so dense, ruins any point you are trying to make.  Fire Emblem is made by Nintendo, Metal Gear is by Konami, Star Ocean only has 4 games, not 7, Xenosaga is made by Namco.  Chrono Cross is not a brand new IP it's a terrible sequel to one of the greatest games ever made.  Stop pulling games and numbers out of nowhere, if you want to state something as fact, put a source on it.

I was going to list out the hits and sales figures for each of bio and square's games but f that, no one else is putting even a modicrum of thought in to their responses and I refuse to waste my time with the blatant fanboy nonsense this thread has been comprised of thus far. (on both sides.)

Too many responses too quickly. I was thinking of games that did well with that post. Not original IPs. Still, each of those franchises is based in an original IP.

Also, all I saw from a search was the ME2 was leading sales on the Xbox in Japan. I didn't see anything about it outselling FFXIII. I'd be really surprised if it did.
