Ok, so the "Free DLC Coming in a Couple Weeks" tweet, which has been confirmed as not having been talking about the Cerberus Armor+Weapon went up a couple weeks ago. (Will be 2 weeks precisely in 19 hours + 12 minutes). It was also said to be, by a mod, "significant".

I'm hoping that it comes tomorrow - but honestly it's quite possible that it won't. I definitely hope that we get it within a week, but most of all, I really hope that regardless of when it comes out, we hear more about it and if it's been delayed relatively soon.

Am I the only one whose checking in on these forums many times today soley out of the hope to hear something about this?
 
I'm not attempting to be impatient, I'm just excited, and honestly probably too distracted by the whole affair - so I'm hoping to get news soon so that I can focus on work, honestly. My own fault there, admittedly, but still hoping as it definitely would help.

Anyways, I didn't mean this to complain - heck, it's *free* DLC - I just want to know if anyone else here is in the same boat as me.

I wouldn't put much stock into a Bioware "couple of weeks" or "soon™".

Heh, glad to know I'm not alone. Thanks.

Especially want to know because my fiance' is about to start the game as soon as she finishes the prequel novel (she reads fast), and I don't want her to be dissapointed that one of her favorite 2 things about the first game (the Mako) is not there.

It's probably a lesson they have learned from Return to Ostagar and the reactions to the delays. Now they won't announce a date before they are sure about it.

This looks like a vaguely worded hint that the announcement will come tomorrow.

im sure the hammerhead has been completed for a while. kinda like how the character kasumi has been most likey done for a while too. i saw what she looks like and heard her dialog on youtube. bioware just wants to spread content out to keep the game in the market longer. its smart but sucks for us. im really excited!

I hope that there will be many missions that you can do with the Hammerhead so it can be put to good use. Maybe they will open up more planets or add new systems to travel to with new planets to fight on. I can't wait now!

i know dude! the game already has a really nice variety a game elements. thanes super sneaky stealth mission, samaras detective type mission etc. and now exploration missions with the hammerhead??? im dying to find out what kinda van-damage that beast of a tank can do!!

He's just refrencing the 19 hour 20 minutes thing in the original post, probably means there's an official announcement this week though

So we're probably looking either at the Hammerhead or at the 12th team member Kassumi....or maybe both but I highly doubt it.....still....not being able to access Deck 3's second observation room bugs the hell out of me.

To be precisely it wasn't said "in a Couple of weeks" but "in a couple" which could mean quite a difference as far as I know, i.e. it could mean 3-6 weeks or even more. Don't want to be pedantically nevertheless.

Couple means 2, few means anything from 3-4 weeks!



I'm in agony waiting for new contact, but just want to ask, where did you see someone say it was significant DLC?

I never did understand the whole "access is restricted until you get the team member" thing. This is my ship, I will go where I damn well want to go. They can populate the rooms as I get team members but don't restrict my access to that room it angers me.
