@WhiteEclipse
I hit 100% usage on both my cpu's and also have the disk version of me2
(I didn't really check me1 coz I didin't have any problems with me1)
The moment I saw that my cpu's overheats because of the game. I emedately went and bougt my self a huge cpu cooler and it didin't help! Even bougt a extra bottle of thermal paste to grease it up good! but all my efforts for nothing!
Now my pc specs are..... Trrrrrrr dish!
Amd dual core running at 2.7Ghz
2gig ram
gpu: Nvidia 9500gt 1 Gb memory
running on xp sp 3 and all drivers updated even the bios...
and on the back of the retail box of me2 the requirements are
os: windows xp sp3 : check
processor: 1.8Ghz dual core : check
memory: 1Gb ram(xp) : check
Hard drive: 15Gb : check
dvd rom: 1x speed : check
video card: 256Mb : check
direct X: 9.0c (august 2008) : check
So why does my cpu only over heat when I play me2 My pc meets all the requirements???
Well clearly my pc can't handle this game because my cpu overheats!
So that means that the labeling on the back of my retail box is wrong?
so ither Ea and BioWare creates a patch that lowers cpu usage or they should give me a refund seeing that the shop's dont give any refunds on media products.
Ea and BioWare has got loads of cash I am shure that they are more than able to create a patch that can help us with this specific problem! I am a huge fan of Me I would love this game to work right! but it looks like they are not looking after us the gaming comunity!
You rarely see a ea or bioware official posting a comment... telling us whats wrong or if they are working on the problem! nothing...
Ea BioWare where are you???
I am dissapointed.... a Mass Effect fan.
Interesting info regarding high CPU usage
