I loved the guy like mostly everyone did (I mean at least in ME1 that is) but... really, looks like so far I've been the only one who thought that maybe the guy wouldn't be suited for politics? Well, when the choice is between a career soldier who has no political training but is of noble character and has Shepard's back the whole way, and an ambitious career politician who questions Shepard's every move and stabs Shepard in the back at the worst possible moment, it's not a difficult decision.

I picked Anderson over Udina even in my two Renegade playthroughs.

Yeah. I figured my Shepard pretty much hated Udina after that crap he pulled with grounding the Normandy. There was no way I was putting him on the Council.

Wait, you can actually cure the genophage in ME2? How!?!?!

Mordin's mission.

It never says specifically if you cured it... but you can take the cure created by Mordin's colleague and suggest that Mordin use it to help the Krogan.

Afterwards, in the mission log screen, it says that the Krogan could be useful against the reapers as shock troopers if they were to have enough numbers. So the cure is implied.

EDIT: Wow, I tried to find a youtube link, but it looks like everyone just told Mordin to hold onto the research for now. I didn't expect that with all of the Krogan lovers out there.
