Optimus Prime [How on earth would you fit him on the ship?!]- He's a transformer, no explanation needed.
Dog from Half-Life 2- indestructible tone of BA
Teyrn Loghain from DA:O.- Tactician
Master Chief- used to fighting aliens in impossible odds
Gordon Freeman- Same as MC, + a crowbar
Garrus- Obviously
Harbinger- Assumes control
Starkiller- Replaces Jack.
Sephiroth- Dude, mile long sword, why do you need anything else?

Chris Redfield (punch's zombies, punches collectors, same thing)

Chris Tucker (comic relief)

Octacon (Metal Gear's tech expert, need one on board)

Garrus (had to be in here somewhere)

Mega Man (the robot character)

Space Marine from Doom (used to shooting things on Mars)

Snake Eyes (needed a ninja in case)

Macgyver (he can fix your space ship with some twine, a car battery, and a lot of inginuity)

and the A-Team (cause if you have a problem, have no one to turn to, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team)

• Mordin Solus - I find Salarians more interesting than Turians  especially singing scientist salarians  besides.. Garrus needs a chance to find sparring partners so he can use his reach better against an opponent's flexibility.
• Teyrn Loghain Mac Tir  from DA:Stolen Throne - (DA:O version's too jaded and paranoid for my tastes)
• Morrigan from DA:O - Lots of power and not afraid to use it... and she has magic too
• Lt. Ellen Ripley - used to fighting aliens and out-surviving everyone else
• Cloud Strife - 1/2 mile long, two-foot thick, solid steel bladed buster sword AND the strength and dexterity to wave it around like it was a butter knife.
• Kyo Kusanagi from KoF - Beats down opponents with flaming fists
• Laharl from Disgaea - "To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death."

• A Prinny yeoman (to take Kelly's place) - Kelly's nice and feeds your fish. A Prinny: Dood! + you can abuse them any way you like and they STILL keep coming back to work for you + their little pouch holds everything but the kitchen sink (literally) + if you run out of heat sink clips, you can toss him at the enemies and get a Cain-Heavy-Weapon-like explosion.

• Max Payne(Max Payne) - Slows time and jumps around like a bunny while killing everything

I can't even think of 12 people but those are enough.
