Done some searching and haven't been able to find any good Mass Effect themes for Windows 7. I'm thinking about creating a couple, if anyone knows any good places to get sounds and music from the games let me know. I can post some links to the final once it done. Feel free to post any comments or suggestions as well.

Making the themes isn't incredibly difficult, it's just time consuming. The hard part is finding enough sound effect and music from the game to use for the system sounds.

I want to make one similar to the Gears of War themes only with Mass Effect sounds and wallpapers.

You should use umodel to extract some backgrounds form the pcc packages and ww2ogg + afcextr to extract menu sounds, click sounds from the afc files.

I would love a Cerberus style desktop, with some of EDI's voice commands for some events I'm scripting in powershell. Working on having one notify me in the morning when I come into the office about new mail, and would love to have "You have new messages at your private terminal"

be sure to add "I delete data like you on the way to real error." when you delete something.

I didnt find any good themes but i found a wallpaper yesterday that needed to be edited a bit. I changed my wallpaper because i used my older one for 1 year (way to long ).

It is but with 4 lines you need to remove and the name on the right (under).

I have successfully extracted the soundfiles, but among the more than 33.000 files, i simply can't find such things as "click" sounds.. Do you guys have any idea in which .afc file these sounds are contained?
