The book! Im a voracious reader  Image IPB

Oh. Nothing that can be bought yet. It is a novel I am writing, tentatively titled Legacy of the Chosen. I 'm working on the end of the book, right now I am doing an editing pass on the earlier chapters. I'm in the process of looking for a literary agent, so hopefully within the next year it will be close to being published.

Ahs. Sounds good. Shall keep that in mind, especially since  tend to lean more toward the history section...

sigh, why did HBO have to cancel ROME? Image IPB

I love history. It was my major in university. I don't know why they cancelled that show, I thought it was good. Nothing like really setting foot in the real Rome though, I swear when I walked around the Colliseum and the Forum I could almost feel the ghosts of ancient Romans around me. Very surreal place.

Ancient Rome is my favorite time period, especialy the civil war that resulted in a government change. Although the geologist in me wants to go see Herculaneum and Pompey..

oks. NOW i am gone. Image IPB

It’s not just the militant extremism or the desire to have their woman covered from head to toe, it is their near religious fanaticism that gets me the most.   Anybody who attempts to draw a picture of their goddess is immediately threaten for they believe no human can possible do justice to her image.  And of course there is the constant proselytizing, you can’t go anywhere without them trying to convert you.   Realize the Talibad rule this forum and my life is endangered but I had to get this off my chest.

*yawn*

Yet another muslim-thread.

I think we've done a good job at squashing that part of the thread. :innocent:

Tali was actually my favorite character in ME1 along with Garrus. I thought they both had the most potential for growth. While I'm a little disappointed with where they took Garrus in ME2, I thought they did a great job with Tali and the migrant fleet, which was my favorite aspect of the story in ME2. I thought Tali's loyalty quest was the only one that really helped set the scene for ME3.

But as for the crazies pining over the possibility of a Tali crotch shot, put down the controller and go socialize with some real people.

*writes title down*

Hey, do you mind friending me and updating me if the title changes? I'd be interested in reading a book written by a fellow forumite.

Sure, just send me an email @ jediblues@gmail.com and I will add you to the list.

LOL!

I didn't know anyone was actually "pining" for anything like that.

I feel that the litmus test for whether or not military intervention against the Taliband is required would be public response to this video, linked by a gentleman in the Tali's Face Joke Thread.

Now I need to go talk to some shady ex-cop about dropping off the grid in the Citadel so the Taliband can't find me and put me on crappy VHS home movies with a bag on my head and a gun in my face.

Oh come on. There are a lot of Tali fans out there. Labeling them all a religious cult is just as ignorant as labeling all Ameericans as x or all Europeans as y. Are there a few people that are Tali fans that lean towards the creepy? Sure, but there are also a lot of regualar people that like Tali too.

Would these Talimancers still be fixated with her if she turned out to be an ugly space cow? Just wondering.

Then why do they like her? Could it be the fact that she has a hot body and more or less a paper bag over her head.

Actually somebody did a fat-Tali picture which I am sure gets their blood boiling. My Google-fu is weak however.

The sons of *****es are resorting to cyber-warfare. I keep getting some popup about account information being requested from some celebrity site.

Rule 34 pretty much ensures any alien species that finds us will wipe our planet clean with nuclear fire.

You too? Think it's someone hacking into the forums?
